These routes include: 1. Charoen Krung Road 2. Surawong Road 3. Rama VI Road 4. Phitsanulok Road 5. Ratchadamnoen Road 6. Phloen Chit Road 7. South Sathorn Road 8. North Sathorn Road 9. Rama IV Road 10. Sukhumvit Road 11. Witthayu Road 12. Ratchadamnoen and 13. Sanam Chai Road.
For those attending the royal cremation ceremony, the police will close traffic around Sanam Luang and prohibit cars and motorcycles from parking on both sides at all times from October 25-29, 2017.
The closed routes include: 1. Ratchadamnoen Nai Road 2. Sanam Chai Road 3. Lak Muang Road 4. Kalyanamitra Road 5. Charoen Krung Road 6. Phra Phit Road 7. Tai Wang Road 8. Maharaj Road (next to the Grand Palace) 9. Maharaj Road (next to Wat Phra Mahathat) 10. Phra Chan Road 11. Setthakarn Road 12. Khet Phon Road 13. Phaya Phet Road 14. Na Phra Lan Road 15. Na Phra That Road 16. Ratchini Road 17. Phra Arthit Road and 18. Soi Saranrom.
Water traffic will also be closed, with safety and traffic plans in place from October 25-27 and on October 29, 2017. The Marine Department has declared the Chao Phraya River a controlled navigation area temporarily as follows:
To the north: Krung Thon Bridge; to the south: King Taksin Bridge. On October 25, 2017, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM; on October 26, 2017, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM; and on October 27, 2017, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Chao Phraya Express Boat will not stop at Tha Chang, Phra Arthit, and Ratchini piers. Passengers to the north should use Tewees Pier, while those to the south should use Talad Yod Phiman Pier. The ferry service will not operate at Phra Chan North Pier, Maharaj Pier, and Tha Chang Pier; instead, passengers should use Pin Klao Pier on the Bangkok side and Ratchini Pier instead of Tha Tien Pier for tourist boats.
For the northern side, use Pin Klao Pier on the Bangkok side; for the southern side, use Ratchini Pier. Additionally, passenger boats will provide free service as follows: on the northern side, pick-up and drop-off at Phra Thruang Commercial Pier, Nonthaburi Pier, and Rama VIII Bridge; on the southern side, pick-up and drop-off at Sathorn Pier and Yod Phiman Pier on October 25-26 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on October 27, 2017, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
For transportation from the outer areas to Sanam Luang, there will be 12 parking spots available, including to the north: Future Park Rangsit, Muang Thong Thani, Government Complex Chaeng Watthana, and Police Club; to the east: BITEC Bangna, IKEA, and Mega Bangna; to the south: Central Rama II.
To the west: Central Westgate, Central Salaya, and Phutthamonthon Sai 4. The BMTA will provide shuttle buses to the inner area with 25 routes and shuttle buses with 21 routes, with 5 drop-off points: Pak Khlong Talat, Arun Amarin Intersection, Visutthaksa Intersection, Nang Leung Horse Racing Track, and Manangkhila House.
