Icon Siam, in collaboration with the Khlong San District Office and the Department of Rural Roads, held a ceremony to deliver the "Chaloem Phra Kiat Forest Park Improvement Project under the King Taksin the Great Bridge." This initiative aims to restore the area and landscape of the public park in Khlong San to a beautiful and complete condition, providing a central gathering place for the community to socialize, exercise, and organize activities for the public, while also enhancing the area's tourism image.

Mr. Supachai Chaiwatthasirikul, Managing Director of Icon Siam Co., Ltd., stated that Icon Siam's policy emphasizes the importance of social, environmental, and cultural responsibility, as well as being part of sustainable local community development alongside the Chao Phraya River. The company has continuously pursued three main social missions: conserving natural resources and the environment around the Chao Phraya River, actively participating in community development and promoting sustainable local wisdom, and preserving the beautiful Thai cultural traditions that have long coexisted with the lifestyle of the riverside people.

Recently, Icon Siam, together with the Khlong San District Office and the Department of Rural Roads, has renovated and landscaped the Chaloem Phra Kiat Forest Park, a fully equipped public park in Khlong San, to enhance its beauty and provide services and conveniences for the public to enjoy as a relaxation area and a public space for community activities. This will promote safety, strengthen relationships, and enhance community resilience.

The Chaloem Phra Kiat Forest Park under the King Taksin the Great Bridge spans an area of 20 rai and was established in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's reign and the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. After serving the public for over 20 years, the overall condition of this public park has deteriorated, necessitating appropriate renovations and restorations to make it the best relaxation spot for the surrounding community.

The Chaloem Phra Kiat Forest Park Improvement Project commenced between July and September 2017, focusing on enhancing the area and landscape of the public park, including the front garden area, surrounding pathways, relaxation pavilions, a new exercise area with new fitness equipment, as well as upgrading existing restrooms and constructing additional ones.

During the event, there was also an activity called "Icon Siam Invites Everyone to Do Good: Color the Forest Park,” which was a volunteer initiative involving government agencies, the private sector, community leaders, and residents of Khlong San. Participants planted marigold flowers to express their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and to transform the area into a vibrant yellow with marigolds during the royal cremation ceremony in October this year. Additionally, they planted the royal flower, the Ruan Phueng tree, to show their loyalty to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, the 10th King, providing shade and tranquility under the royal grace. Furthermore, the young ambassadors of Icon Siam Year 2 also participated in painting the walls around the exercise area to enhance the park's aesthetic appeal.
