KASIKORN Business-Technology Group (KBTG)<\/strong><\/span> has announced the results of the top three teams of new developers who won the grand prize at TechJam by KBTG 2017 across three competition categories: Code Track, Data Track, and Design Track, supported by KBTG and partners from Google Developers and the Faculty of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. The three winning teams will participate in a workshop in Silicon Valley, along with airfare and travel expenses, and other prizes totaling over 3 million baht.

          Professor Dr. Phairach Thachayapong, Chairman of KASIKORN Business Technology Group (KBTG), revealed that the TechJam by KBTG 2017 competition was organized to allow individuals with expertise in software development (Programming), data analysis (Data Science), and creative user experience design (UX/UI Design) to showcase their potential in their respective fields. The competition focused on technology with the theme of Human-centric AI to meet the lifestyle needs of today's people. This event was a diverse and challenging software development competition, with over 594 participants or 421 teams in its inaugural year, divided into three categories: Code Track with 210 teams, Data Track with 146 teams, and Design Track with 65 teams. Recently, 159 individuals or 95 teams were selected from the Online Audition round to advance to the finals.

          The final round involved pitching presentations to a panel of judges from KBTG, Google Developers, faculty from leading universities, and IT experts, resulting in the selection of the final three winning teams. The judging criteria for each track in the finals included: 1. Code Track, where participants faced various challenges requiring the use of specified APIs, with judging based on accuracy and efficiency of the program; 2. Data Track, which presented complex challenges with judging based on model accuracy; and 3. Design Track, focusing on designing future life scenarios that integrate world-changing technology, judged on creativity, innovative concepts, and the ability to apply specified technologies, as well as the team's passion and commitment to participating in the competition.

          The winning teams of the TechJam by KBTG 2017 competition in each track are: 1.<\/strong> Code Track:<\/strong><\/span>  Team AI shiteru, consisting of Ms. Pirachit Pasuphat and Mr. Thanaphat Kumsapa; 2.<\/strong>Data Track:<\/strong><\/span> Team M&M, consisting of Mr. Thanipol Watthanawarakit and Mr. Nopamet Neuymuangpak; and 3.<\/strong>Design Track:<\/strong><\/span> Team Consumotive, consisting of Mr. Patthaya Upar and Mr. Sanpawit Siriphol.

          The winning teams in each track will have the opportunity to study and participate in workshops in Silicon Valley, a must-visit community for developers, along with airfare and travel expenses to the United States, as well as other prizes for the first and second runners-up, totaling over 3 million baht.

          The TechJam by KBTG 2017 event, supported by leading partners, aimed to promote new technologies such as chatbots, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and mobile app design for participants, including students and the general public.
