PropertyGuru Reveals Finalists for the 12th Thailand Property Awards
This award is supported by the leading property development website in Thailand, DDproperty.com A total of 41 property developers have made it to the finals, representing Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Hua Hin, Khao Yai, and the Eastern Seaboard. Among the nominees, notable developers include The Riviera Group, known for its diverse range of boutique condominium and resort projects along Thailand's eastern coastline, which is recognized as a growing industrial and economic development zone and a hub for modern infrastructure and transportation as outlined in the Eastern Economic Corridor development plan released last year.
Other leading property developers nominated include Sansara Development and Sansiri, which have been nominated for six projects each. In Phuket, MontAzure has received nominations for five projects in each category, while Proud Residences has four nominations in each category. Additionally, there are FYNN Development, D'Well Grand Asset, and Sena Development. “The PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards” 12th Edition features a total of 39 award categories, including special awards for corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainable development, green development, and universally recognized design.

The judging process involves our panel, which ensures fair and ethical evaluations based on established criteria. Prior to the judging, our panel visits each nominated property development project to assess the quality and construction standards. “Urban community development will continue in Thailand, and quality development will determine investment destinations, along with the factor of property development projects in this region,” Mr. Kamolpath added.
The judging panel is honored to have Mr. Suphin Mechuchep, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle (Thailand) Ltd. serve as the chairperson again this year. “This is a great opportunity for the world to learn about the property development projects that have been developed in various areas and the key factors driving growth in Thailand's property development. The ‘PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards’ showcases the quality of property development and reflects the increasing recognition from the real estate development industry in Thailand.” The finalists will be announced during a gala dinner attended by over 600 distinguished guests from the property development sector and related industries, both from Thailand and abroad. This gala dinner is the largest annual real estate awards event in Thailand.
The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Friday, September 15, 2017, at the Plaza Athénée Bangkok Hotel. Meanwhile, the PropertyGuru Thailand Real Estate Summit will be held prior to the gala dinner at the Royal Meridien Hotel, with over 100 real estate experts from Thailand and abroad expected to attend. As with every year, this year’s gala dinner will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by speeches, a sit-down dinner, and the awards presentation.
