Thai Prime Minister Meets with Vice Chairman of Xiaomi in Chengdu, People's Republic of China
During his official visit to the People's Republic of China, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who also serves as the Minister of Interior, held a one-on-one bilateral meeting with executives from Xiaomi in Chengdu on July 18. The discussion focused on the development strategies and future business directions of Xiaomi in Thailand.

In this meeting, Alain Lam, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Xiaomi Corporation, provided an overview of the company's business operations, performance, and the latest developments in the Thai market, including investment directions in research and development (R&D) and international growth plans. He also invited Prime Minister Anutin to visit Xiaomi's electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul stated that Xiaomi has established a solid foundation in Thailand and has a deep understanding of consumer needs. Additionally, the Prime Minister shared Thailand's plans to promote environmentally friendly development and energy transition, expressing a warm welcome to Xiaomi and other companies to explore collaborative opportunities in these areas in Thailand.
