Singha Estate Public Company Limited, a developer and investor in international real estate, is advancing its sustainability mission through the Green Tenant of The Year 2026 Award, now in its second year under the campaign 'Go Green Together, Change Tomorrow'. This initiative aims to encourage office tenants to participate in reducing environmental impacts while extending green activities within organizations into practical and measurable practices across Singha Estate's four office and commercial buildings: SUNTOWERS, S-OASIS, SINGHA COMPLEX, and S-METRO. The goal is to foster collaboration among building developers, tenants, partners, and business allies towards long-term environmental goals and sustainable growth.

Creating Green Partnerships from Workspaces to Shared Sustainability Goals

Singha Estate believes that driving sustainability cannot be achieved by any single organization alone; it requires collaboration from all sectors. The essence of the Green Tenant of The Year 2026 Award lies in transforming the relationship between 'landlords' and 'tenants' into green partners with shared objectives.

Under this concept, building tenants can leverage existing environmental activities within their organizations through the program to create learning opportunities, data organization, and the development of measurable practices in reducing environmental impacts, efficient resource use, and fostering a corporate culture that prioritizes sustainability.

Additionally, Singha Estate emphasizes the quality of life for people in workspaces through the S FLOW COMMUNITY concept, an ecosystem that integrates work, wellness, lifestyle, and community, reflecting the direction of Singha Estate's office and commercial property business towards becoming a Work-Life Destination that meets both work and life needs.

Under the Work-Life Destination concept, development is guided by three main pillars: Work Well - creating workspaces that enhance efficiency and business growth; Live Well - promoting community activities, lifestyle, and experiences that foster connections among building users; and Stay Well - prioritizing wellness, green spaces, and environmental initiatives.

The Green Tenant of The Year 2026 Award is thus a key activity that concretely supports the Stay Well pillar by inviting building tenants to learn, take action, and develop practical environmental strategies within their organizations.

Singha Estate Executives Emphasize New Office Buildings Must Create Shared Value with Tenants

Oranee Poongkwan, Chief Executive Officer of Retail and Commercial Business Development at Singha Estate Public Company Limited, stated, "Singha Estate, as a developer and manager of office buildings, is committed to developing rental spaces to be more than just workplaces but to create value for people, businesses, and the environment simultaneously. The Green Tenant of The Year 2026 Award is another mechanism that encourages building tenants to see the power of real action and to continuously drive sustainability goals together."

"We believe that modern office buildings are not defined by space but by the value created together with tenants, partners, and allies every day, moving towards a sustainable future together."

Partnering to Share Knowledge and Practical Approaches

To prepare tenants participating in the program, Singha Estate organized the Green Tenant of The Year 2026 Award Workshop, honored by partners from both the public and private sectors sharing knowledge, experiences, and operational approaches that can be translated into real practices within organizations.

During this event, Sumitra Wongphakdee, Managing Director of Terra Media and Consulting Co., Ltd., delivered a lecture on 'Green Action, Real Change: Every Action is a Power of Change' to enhance understanding of the role of organizations and building users in promoting an environmentally conscious work society.

Additionally, Phakphum Pitakthanakoon, Division Manager: Integrated Marketing Communication and Circular Management at PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited from YOUturn, shared insights on 'End-to-End Plastic Waste Management: Driving Circular Economy Towards Sustainability' to illustrate the approach to managing plastic waste from source to end.

Furthermore, Jittima Boonkerd, Senior Academic Officer at the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO, provided information on applying for the LESS: Low Emission Support Scheme to promote concrete assessment and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, with Olan Waiudomwut, Director of Retail and Commercial Business Development at Singha Estate Public Company Limited, graciously opening the event.

Oranee further stated, "Collaboration with partners this time is crucial in supporting building tenants to move towards Green Workplaces together. TGO helps create understanding of greenhouse gas reduction strategies and applying for LESS certification, while TerraBKK shares knowledge and perspectives, and YOUturn acts as a Circular Solution and Waste Management Partner to enhance resource and waste management in Singha Estate's office buildings."

Expanding Circular Solutions for Effective Waste Management

Previously, collaboration with YOUturn has played a role in managing plastic waste from source to end within Singha Estate's office buildings through establishing plastic waste donation points, correctly sorting recyclable materials, and entering the upcycling process to transform plastic waste into new products that can be reused.

This approach reflects that the Circular Economy can start from the workplace and can extend to responsible resource use behaviors in the daily lives of urban residents.

Continuing to Build Partnerships for Ongoing Sustainability

Singha Estate's Go Green Together, Change Tomorrow campaign has been ongoing since 2019, promoting tenant and partner participation in reducing environmental impacts while developing practical sustainability approaches within office buildings. This year, it has been furthered through the Green Tenant of The Year 2026 Award, now in its second year.

In the future, Singha Estate will continue to expand collaboration with tenants, partners, and relevant agencies to exchange knowledge, innovations, and practices while supporting tenants to elevate their environmental operations concretely, alongside developing office buildings into Work-Life Destinations that create value for businesses, people, and the environment, aiming for Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
