JORAKAY EASY Wins Packaging Innovation Award at the Prestigious Thailand Star Packaging Awards 2026, Promoting Upcycling of Urban Waste
K-Sera Co., Ltd., a specialist in innovative products for tiles and decoration, continues to create innovations that meet the needs of modern lifestyles. Recently, they announced the success of JORAKAY EASY, which won the Thailand Star Awards in the Consumer Package category at the Thailand Star Packaging Awards 2026 for its innovative packaging design for mail delivery, “Easy Mail Pack: JORAKAY EASY”. This achievement is a result of collaboration between K-Sera Co., Ltd. and Siam Packaging Group Co., Ltd., the design partner. The project reflects creative thinking in enhancing the functionality and value of ordinary packaging boxes, transforming them into household items for customers after unpacking, aligning with this year's competition theme, “Packaging Beyond The Box: Breaking Boundaries Towards Future Packaging,” which promotes out-of-the-box thinking, technology application, and innovation. Furthermore, it demonstrates the power of collaboration among organizations to develop packaging that adds value to products, consumers, and the environment, while driving the Thai packaging industry to keep pace with global trends and demands under the concept of sustainable growth.

The Thailand Star Packaging Awards 2026 is organized by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to enhance the design potential of Thai packaging and to recognize packaging that incorporates innovation, creativity, and technology to enhance functionality and create new value for society, the economy, and the environment. A selection committee chose 35 winners from over 100 applicants based on criteria covering all dimensions of good packaging, such as creativity in design, the benefits of the work, aesthetic design, material efficiency, commercial production capability, and environmentally friendly design.

The packaging “Easy Mail Pack: JORAKAY EASY” was conceived to design a packaging box that serves more than just as a “single-use box” and to create utility in customers' daily lives after unpacking. The structure of the box is designed to fold and open-close like a drawer and can be stacked in multiple layers, transforming into a drawer that meets practical needs. Additionally, it is made from 100% recyclable materials under the concept of “Upcycling Packaging,” which aims to give new life to packaging and help reduce the amount of packaging waste generated in households due to the modern lifestyle of online shopping.

Mr. Chinthorn Atthasaranapith, Managing Director of K-Sera Co., Ltd., stated, “Currently, we see that the waste from packaging boxes due to online shopping in Thailand is increasing. The JORAKAY EASY product is primarily sold online, so we have the challenge that our packaging must serve as both an efficient shipping container and transform into a household item after use so that customers can truly benefit from the box instead of discarding it every time. This design that turns the box into a drawer not only benefits our customers but also helps reduce environmental impact. We are very pleased that Easy Mail Pack: JORAKAY EASY has received the award in the Consumer Package category. We are committed to continuing to bring creative ideas to break the traditional boundaries to create new innovations that care for people's lives and the planet simultaneously, reinforcing the concept of developing the JORAKAY EASY brand to deliver easy-to-use products that care for society and the environment, while considering the user experience from the design stage to post-use packaging management.”

This success reflects the brand's commitment not only to functionality and design but also to thinking ahead for a better tomorrow. JORAKAY EASY is ready to continue developing cleaning, decorating, repairing, and maintaining household products that are easy to use and understand the lifestyle of the new generation, aiming to become a leading brand in home decoration materials and lifestyle in Thailand.
