The Mall Group Partners with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on the Project "STOP FOOD WASTE: Eat Well, Save the World, Win More"
The Mall Group Co., Ltd., as a sustainable organization under the ESG framework, officially launched the project "STOP FOOD WASTE: Eat Well, Save the World, Win More" at The Mall Life Store, Bangkapi, with Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, honored as the opening chair. This project is a continuation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed together, aiming for concrete goals in driving sustainable development related to responsible production and consumption.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, addressed the issue of food waste, stating, "Food waste is one of the most urgent environmental crises globally. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) indicates that over one-third of food produced worldwide is wasted, leading to massive greenhouse gas emissions, loss of water and energy resources, and directly hindering SDG 12 (responsible production and consumption). The Ministry believes that sustainable change can only occur through integrated cooperation among the government, businesses, and the public. The STOP FOOD WASTE: Eat Well, Save the World, Win More project initiated by The Mall Group is the best example of such collaboration."
THE MALL GROUP ZERO WASTE: Strategy Towards a Waste-Free Shopping Center
Ms. Woralak Tulaporn, CEO of The Mall Group, discussed the integration of cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment under the THE MALL GROUP ZERO WASTE strategy, stating, "The Mall Group has collaborated with restaurants within The Mall Life Store across all branches, including Emporium, EmQuartier, and M Sphere, to participate in proper food waste management according to standard criteria. Restaurants that pass the assessment will receive the 'Stop Food Waste' certification from the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, along with the 'M Green' symbol. This reflects a commitment to environmentally conscious business practices. This collaboration with restaurants in the shopping center demonstrates our commitment to creating a sustainable waste reduction ecosystem across all dimensions—organizations, entrepreneurs, and consumers—to achieve results that can reduce waste in the centers and encourage the public to change their waste separation behaviors in daily life. Because finishing your plate is a small yet powerful action for our world."
