ARAYA Advances to Elevate the Model of Smart Industrial City, Partnering with AIS to Strengthen Digital Infrastructure with 5G
ARAYA - The Eastern Gateway is moving forward with the development of a model Smart Industrial Estate that is ready to support future industries, including Hyperscale Data Centers, AI, Cloud, Semiconductors, and Advanced Manufacturing. With the collaboration of "AIS Business," a provider of digital solutions for businesses, this initiative reinforces the role of the country as a leader in Digital Infrastructure and Digital Solutions. It aims to create a comprehensive "Digital Infrastructure Ecosystem," reflecting AIS's role as a Digital Enabler that integrates the potential of its smart 5G network and Fiber Infrastructure with digital solutions to build a truly stable, secure, and mission-critical infrastructure.
Ms. Kamolkan Kongkathong, Managing Director of Araya Land Development Co., Ltd. stated, "The direction of global investment is shifting towards data-driven industries powered by technology and clean energy, whether it be Hyperscale Data Centers, AI, Cloud, Semiconductors, or Advanced Manufacturing. All of these require industrial estates with high-level infrastructure readiness in terms of energy, digital capabilities, utility system security, and the potential to support large-scale long-term investments. The strategic partnership with AIS Business is a significant step towards developing digital infrastructure within the project and enhancing the area's readiness to accommodate investments of various scales, from global technology companies to advanced industries that require comprehensive readiness for high-security operations."

Mr. Phupha Ekkawiphat, Head of Corporate Customer Group at AIS stated, "Today, digital infrastructure is not just a 'support system' but the 'heart of investment,' especially in the new industrial era. AIS Business has designed a Digital Infrastructure Ecosystem specifically for ARAYA, covering everything from communication networks to digital platforms to ensure that business operations can be supported in every dimension with maximum efficiency."
The infrastructure designed and developed by AIS for this project includes key components such as:
- High-speed Fiber Optic network with Redundant Network for continuous and highly stable connectivity
- 5G Industrial Network / Private Network to support IoT machine connections and automation systems
- Cloud & Data Connectivity for enterprise-level data storage and processing
- Cybersecurity & Intelligent Monitoring for system and data security
- Enterprise Digital Platform for managing smart factories
Additionally, it will extend to various Smart Solutions such as Smart Factory, Smart Energy Management, Smart Logistics, Smart Tracking, CCTV Analytics, and real-time management systems, which help enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and increase operational accuracy. "We are not just installing networks; we are designing a complete Ecosystem to ensure that ARAYA can support industries requiring high stability and global connectivity, creating a competitive advantage for investors in the long term," Mr. Phupha said.
The ARAYA - The Eastern Gateway project is being developed as an Industrial-Tech Ecosystem with comprehensive infrastructure systems from the outset, including energy, water systems, wastewater management, and digital infrastructure. When integrated with AIS technology, it will elevate the project to a smart industrial city capable of real-time management and fully data-driven operations.
This collaboration also aligns with the Smart Industrial Estate (SMART I.E.) framework of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), covering seven dimensions: Smart Infrastructure, Smart Energy, Smart Environment, Smart Mobility & Logistics, Smart Digital, Smart Community, and Smart Governance. AIS Business plays a crucial role in driving the Smart Digital dimension and connecting the entire digital ecosystem together.
