AP – TOA: Two Leaders in Real Estate and Construction Materials Join Forces to Create a Green Supply Chain, Elevating Construction Standards for Sustainable Quality of Life
- AP Thailand collaborates with TOA to establish a Green Supply Chain, enhancing sustainability standards in the Thai real estate industry. This partnership aims to balance business development with a deep understanding of quality of life and long-term environmental sustainability, while also improving Living Quality to provide customers with a better life choice across all AP projects, including single houses, townhomes, duplexes, and condominiums.
- The collaboration between AP and TOA emphasizes environmental conservation by selecting high-quality construction materials and eco-friendly products from TOA that have received international certifications, such as the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and the Carbon Footprint Reduction Label.
- Innovative building paint SuperShield reflects heat, reduces home temperatures, saves energy, has low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and is safe for residents. Gypsum boards certified by CFR and LEED V4 & V4.1 have low VOCs, ensuring safety for both construction workers and residents, while supporting the development of projects in line with Green Building principles that consider the environment and residents.
- This collaboration aligns with the goal of creating Living Quality that starts from a true understanding of quality of life towards sustainability, while also reducing environmental impact under the CODE OF IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING strategy that emphasizes a profound understanding of people's lives, integrating one of the key pillars, the Code of Sustainable Impact, which incorporates ESG concepts into every step of project development, from design and material selection to the actual living experience.

Mr. Ratchachayut Nuntachotiporn, President of AP Thailand Public Company Limited, stated that AP Thailand aims to elevate the quality of living under the vision of EMPOWER LIVING, or a better life that can be chosen, while driving the strategic business of “CODE OF IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING”, which emphasizes a deep understanding of people's lives in all dimensions. One of the key pillars is the Code of Sustainable Impact, which aims to enhance sustainability standards in the industry through an operational framework that integrates ESG concepts into every step of project development, from design concepts, material selection, and construction innovations to the actual living experience.

Recently, the company announced its commitment to collaborate with TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited to create a Green Supply Chain aimed at enhancing sustainability standards in the Thai real estate industry. This expands the network of strategic partners in the fields of environment, energy, and construction materials, considering the environment in every dimension while delivering sustainable quality of life to people, society, and the world in the long term.

All AP housing and condominium projects use world-class quality materials.
This collaboration aims to deliver quality living to AP Thailand customers by utilizing TOA's eco-friendly quality materials that have received international certifications, particularly the EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), which transparently discloses the environmental impact of products throughout their life cycle, as well as the Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) certification from the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO, reflecting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the production process.
Delivering Living Quality in every dimension with quality paint and eco-friendly gypsum from TOA.
AP Thailand selects quality paint and eco-friendly construction materials from TOA, which meet environmental standards and promote the well-being of residents, continuously applying them in AP housing projects, including:
- Building paint products with the innovative SuperShield paint, which reflects up to 99.2% of sunlight and can release up to 90% of heat, helping to reduce indoor temperatures by up to 8.1 degrees Celsius, thus reducing energy consumption from air conditioning, and 4Seasons paint, which has low VOCs and is safe for residents.
Additionally, the innovative packaging for primer paint uses recycled plastic, which helps reduce the use of new plastic by about 20% per bucket and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 322 grams of CO2 equivalent (gCO2e).
- Construction material products TOA Gypsum, the latest eco-friendly material innovation from TOA, includes standard gypsum boards (TOA Proboard) and moisture-resistant gypsum boards (TOA Waterproof), which are the first in Thailand to receive the Gold Label for Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) from TGO and the LEED V4 & V4.1 standards from the international organization USGBC, confirming that the products have low VOCs and are safe for the health of both construction workers and residents, aligning with the current development of projects following Green Building principles.

Creating long-term balance between business development.
Under the Code of Sustainable Impact pillar towards sustainable project development.
This collaboration reflects the key pillar of the Code of Sustainable Impact under AP Thailand's CODE OF IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING strategy, which aims to integrate ESG concepts into every step of quality residential project development within the AP Thailand group, from energy-efficient and environmentally-conscious design to working with a network of strategic partners in the fields of environment, energy, and quality construction materials under the role of Strategic Sustainability Partners, managing waste from the construction process, as well as developing green spaces and the quality of life of surrounding communities.
All of this aims to create a balance between business development, the quality of life of residents, and long-term environmental sustainability, while enhancing Living Quality and delivering a better life choice to customers in every AP project, including single houses, townhomes, duplexes, and condominiums, reflecting AP Thailand's Living Quality concept that aims to develop quality housing while reducing environmental impact and contributing to a sustainable low-carbon society.
AP – TOA: Two Leaders in Real Estate and Construction Materials
Joining forces to elevate construction standards for sustainable quality of life.
Mr. Jatuphat Tangkaravakun, CEO of TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, revealed that TOA has transcended its previous limitations as merely a building paint manufacturer to declare a strong stance as a “Total Solution for Sustainable Living” leader, marking a significant organizational transformation to respond to future lifestyles under a vision focused on creating “happiness in living” while caring for the planet.
Another achievement this year is the strategic collaboration with leading partners like AP Thailand, under a shared goal of creating housing that is “good for the heart and good for the world.” TOA has brought comprehensive construction material innovations, including eco-friendly paint and gypsum boards, to enhance AP's construction standards, ensuring that every project is environmentally friendly from structure to surface.
TOA is fully committed to achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2050, which is a significant milestone in reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the 7-Green mission that we implement in every dimension, such as Green Production & Energy, where our factories use clean energy and continuously reduce waste from production, Greenovation & Green Certified, developing innovations like TOA Organic Care that use plant-based materials, and SuperShield paint, which reflects heat up to 99.2%, helping save electricity costs and is certified with the EPD label and the Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) label, the most recognized in Thailand, which AP Thailand projects have chosen to use to provide energy-efficient and safe homes for residents. Green Reforestation is a project to plant trees to increase green spaces to help absorb carbon, as well as the Green Partner & Value Chain dimension, where collaboration with AP serves as a model of a Green Partner, managing resources and logistics together to reduce Carbon Footprint throughout the product life cycle.
“The collaboration with AP Thailand this time brings our proud innovations like SuperShield paint and TOA Gypsum to create tangible value, along with the recycled paint bucket model, proving that the real estate and construction materials business can continuously develop Living Quality and demonstrate collaboration to elevate sustainability standards that benefit residents, society, and the world,” concluded Mr. Jatuphat Tangkaravakun.
