Frasers Property Thailand Enhances the Value of Waste Materials with Zero Waste Concept, Transforming Cardboard Boxes into ESG Exhibition Boards to Share Sustainability Knowledge with Youth
If we consider the end goal of exhibitions, seminars, or various events, one crucial aspect that cannot be overlooked is the management of materials used in booth construction or displays to prevent them from becoming waste that could impact the environment. Many events have prioritized this issue from the initial planning, design, and execution stages, ensuring that they are environmentally friendly from start to finish.
At the Sustainability Expo 2025 (SX2025), the largest sustainability event in ASEAN, Frasers Property demonstrated its commitment as a responsible organizer by creating a Zero Waste booth. The materials used within the booth can be reused or repurposed for other projects. One of the key components of this exhibition was the 'cardboard boxes' that served as the foundation for the 'Interactive Eco Art Piece,' which was further developed into 'ESG Exhibition Boards' delivered to various schools.
Mr. Hwa Tien Lim, CEO of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, believes that creating ESG exhibition boards using materials from the SX2025 booth to generate new value after the event is a meaningful endeavor. The recycled materials contribute to inspiring and instilling ESG awareness in youth, allowing them to learn about various aspects of sustainability.

Frasers Property Thailand has delivered ESG exhibition boards to five schools: Suan Lumphini School, Wat Thepleela School, Suwit Seree Anusorn School, Rajadamri School, and Kaenthong Upatham School. The boards focus on ESG and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as these topics are relevant to current and future living. The content is designed to be easily understood by children and connects to relatable situations, such as communicating environmental issues and the importance of caring for nature or governance as acting with integrity.
Moreover, the ESG exhibition boards are designed to be movable, allowing them to be placed in various areas of the school, providing opportunities for students at all levels to learn comprehensively. They can also be used for teaching purposes, and if the schools no longer need the exhibition boards, the boxes can be repurposed for other activities or used as document storage, maximizing resource efficiency.
“Repurposing materials to create ESG exhibition boards aligns with Frasers Property's mission to create inspiring experiences and places for good. By establishing a learning space through these boards, we aim to provide experiences that enhance understanding of sustainability for the younger generation while fostering a sense of social and environmental responsibility,” said Mr. Hwa Tien.
