Iconic hotel brands such as Sofitel and the exclusive hotel collection MGallery Hotel Collection have received numerous prestigious international awards in the Asia region in 2025. Both brands have garnered accolades from hotels in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, and South Korea, proving that luxury hotels and resorts under the Accor umbrella are elevating guest experiences across all aspects.

Three Hotels Win MICHELIN Keys Award

This year's MICHELIN Key Awards were announced in October 2025, following a confidential evaluation process conducted by Michelin inspectors. Similar to MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, MICHELIN Keys are awarded only to the most outstanding hotels. This year, Accor is pleased to announce that two hotels in Vietnam, namely Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and Hotel de la Coupole Sapa – MGallery Collection, along with one resort in Thailand, V Villas Hua Hin – MGallery Collection, have been honored with a MICHELIN Key.

Michelin praised Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, a 124-year-old hotel that symbolizes historical heritage, for its ability to transport guests back in time while blending classic and modern elements. The Michelin Guide stated, "The word 'legend' is not suited for every hotel, but Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is one of the few that truly brings this word to life."

Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery Collection, which opened in 2018, has ushered in a new golden age of luxury tourism in Sapa, a captivating mountain town. In awarding the hotel a Key, Michelin commended its ability to seamlessly blend artistic beauty and unique character with world-class facilities and services.

With a beachfront location, this boutique resort features 28 pool villas with personal butler service. V Villas Hua Hin – MGallery Collection is a paradise of luxury and privacy, as described by the Michelin Guide, which states that this hotel “reflects how far Hua Hin has come from a quiet fishing village to one of Thailand's most stylish seaside towns.”

Robb Report Hong Kong and the Business Traveller Awards have recognized Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.

The long-standing influence of Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has also been acknowledged by Robb Report Hong Kong, a leading global luxury lifestyle media outlet, in the “Best of the Best 2026: Travel, Experiences & Hospitality Edition,” which held a grand awards ceremony and gala dinner last October. This legendary hotel was honored with the award for “Iconic Historic Hotel in Hanoi.”

Then at the Business Traveller Awards 2025, which revealed results on October 28, this five-star hotel received the “Best Business Hotel in Vietnam” award. This prestigious award has been a standard of excellence in business travel and service for over 40 years, making this recognition a testament to Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi's status as a leader in hotels for business travelers.

The Tatler Best Awards were recently announced to honor the “100 Best” hotels, restaurants, and bars from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
