These agreements are part of the announcement of 17 new hotels across six countries, collectively adding nearly 4,000 rooms in key markets including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, reinforcing Hilton's position as the fastest-growing hotel company in the Asia-Pacific region.

“The continuous growth of Hilton's luxury and lifestyle hotel portfolio is a result of the increasing demand from customers for our brands in top resort destinations, major urban centers, and emerging cities across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Clarence Tan, Senior Vice President of Development, Asia Pacific, Hilton. “This also reflects the confidence and trust that owners and property developers have in Hilton, as well as our proven ability to deliver outstanding commercial performance and a strong business model amidst a rapidly changing and growing market.”

Expansion of Lifestyle Brands: Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Tapestry Collection by Hilton

In terms of lifestyle, Hilton is rapidly expanding through diverse brands that cater to travelers seeking unique experiences and local cultural immersion. The Tapestry Collection by Hilton will debut in Malaysia with a new hotel in the historic city of Malacca, followed by a second hotel in Thailand with Niwana Koh Samui Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. In Vietnam, this brand will make its debut with Enhance Resort and Spa Hoi An, Tapestry Collection by Hilton – an all-villa resort that blends local heritage with contemporary design.

Building on this success, Hilton has launched the Curio Collection by Hilton in Thailand with the latest project Kromo Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton, a uniquely designed urban hotel that reflects Bangkok's cultural heritage in a modern and inspiring way. For early next year, the brand will expand to northern Thailand with Kahawadi Chiang Rai, Curio Collection by Hilton, a resort set amidst stunning nature inspired by Chiang Rai's role as a cultural and trade hub. Hilton's lifestyle brand growth also includes the launch of Canopy by Hilton in two major capitals in Southeast Asia. The hotel Canopy by Hilton Makati will mark the brand's debut in the Philippines, while Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit will strengthen the brand's presence in Bangkok, Thailand.

The ongoing expansion in Southeast Asia reflects the company's role as a key driver of regional strategy. In the Asia-Pacific region, Hilton expects to increase its luxury and lifestyle hotel count by at least 50% in the coming years, building on the current base of over 160 operational hotels. This intention is supported by positive macroeconomic trends in the region, including a growing affluent and middle-class population seeking new experiences and increased investor interest in the hospitality industry as an investment asset.

“Today's travelers are looking for more than just a place to stay – they want brands that align with their values, brands that offer authentic experiences, and can meet their ever-changing needs. Hilton's luxury and lifestyle hotel brands have a distinct position in this regard, as we tell stories and intentions through hotel design, as well as providing service that understands the customer, culinary expertise, and a deep connection to the locations of our hotels. Therefore, as we expand our business across the Asia-Pacific region, we are committed to delivering experiences that are not only memorable but also truly reflect the uniqueness of Hilton,” said Tal Schaefer, Senior Vice President of Brand Management, Asia Pacific, Hilton.
