Nippon Paint Decorative Coating (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has brought its color expertise into practice by collaborating with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to paint pedestrian paths under the project "Safe Walking Path 'WALK WITH COLOURS' with Nippon Paint". This initiative harnesses the power of color to create safer pedestrian areas, reducing the risk of accidents for students and community members while enhancing the beauty and friendliness of the environment.

In this activity, over 25 executives and volunteers from Nippon Paint Decorative Coating (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Watchara Sirithichai, General Manager, and Mr. Narongrit Malainuan, Marketing Director, along with Mr. Sanan Wangsangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, Warrant Officer Dechatthorn Saengamnuat, Director of Thonburi District, Mr. Sanoe NamSai, Director of Wat Bangsakae School, Ms. Rojana Aekpayong, community representative, and student representatives from Wat Bangsakae School, came together to use the innovative paint “Nippon Paint Traffic Paint”. This high-quality traffic paint is durable and highly visible both day and night, painting bright blue pedestrian paths with white borders on the road, along with the message "Safe Walking Path" that glows at night and the symbol “Safety Walker”, accompanied by “Nong Nippon”, the brand's mascot, to promote safety for students and the community.

As part of the project "Safe Walking Path 'WALK WITH COLOURS' with Nippon Paint", this initiative is a part of the social mission “Colouring Lives” that Nippon Paint is committed to using the power of color to create widespread positive change for people and society. This project has painted pedestrian paths covering the areas around four pilot schools in Dusit and Thonburi districts, totaling 1,720 meters and covering an area of 1,118 square meters, with a project value of over 2 million baht. This will help improve the quality of life for over 135,000 residents in Bangkok, including students and community members. It represents another collaboration between the private sector, government, and community to enhance safety and reduce road accidents in Bangkok with clearly visible pedestrian paths, serving as a model for using “innovative paint” to create a livable and safe city for everyone in the long term.
