The Home Builder Association has announced the success of the 'Home Building and Materials EXPO 2025', which concluded with sales reaching 1.543 billion baht, averaging 8.5 million baht per house. This reflects the strong demand from consumers looking to build homes (Real Demand). The targeted marketing strategy has helped expand the customer base, with plans to follow up on an additional 1.2 billion baht in sales post-event. Homes priced between 2.5 to 5 million baht were the best sellers, accounting for 41%, followed by homes priced between 5 to 10 million baht at 30%. Homes priced at 20 million baht had the lowest sales at 6%. The home building market is expected to grow in the fourth quarter due to positive political stability and an economic recovery.

Mr. Anantakorn Amornwatee, President of the Home Builder Association (HBA), stated that the event 'Home Building and Materials EXPO 2025', held on September 14 at Impact Muang Thong Thani Hall 6, received an excellent response from consumers wanting to build homes (Real Demand). The event attracted 15,000 visitors, surpassing the expected 10,000, indicating a continuous demand for home building despite economic and political pressures that make consumers cautious about spending.

As a result of the positive consumer response, the association achieved sales of 1,543,855,342 baht from a total of 180 homes, with an average construction value of 8.5 million baht.

The sales can be categorized into five price groups:

- Homes priced up to 2.5 million baht: 15 homes, accounting for 8%, valued at 30,141,180 baht.

- Homes priced between 2.51 to 5 million baht: 73 homes, accounting for 41%, valued at 269,905,867 baht.

- Homes priced between 5.01 to 10 million baht: 54 homes, accounting for 30%, valued at 351,140,025 baht.

- Homes priced between 10.01 to 20 million baht: 27 homes, accounting for 15%, valued at 394,229,270 baht.

- Homes priced above 20.01 million baht: 11 homes, accounting for 6%, valued at 498,439,000 baht.

Considering the sales by number of homes, the primary segment of the association's members remains homes priced between 2.5 to 10 million baht, which accounts for 71% of total homes sold. However, in terms of value, homes priced at 20 million baht and above still hold the highest proportion, reflecting the confidence of high-end customers choosing to build with the association's members.

In addition to the sales generated during the event, the association anticipates follow-up sales of over 1,000 to 1,200 million baht, bringing the total expected sales from the 'Home Building and Materials EXPO 2025' to between 2,500 and 2,800 million baht.

Mr. Anantakorn noted that the quicker decision-making by consumers to build homes is influenced by several factors, including the current construction costs before anticipated price increases next year due to rising labor and material costs. Additionally, the marketing strategies and communications from the 'Home Building and Materials EXPO 2025' through various online and offline channels have raised awareness widely, targeting new consumers planning to build homes in the next 3 to 6 months. The clearer political atmosphere, with the establishment of a new government and experienced economic team, has also contributed to confidence that the home building market will expand better than expected in the last four months of this year.

“The sales figures achieved from this event represent an 18.74% decrease compared to the 1.9 billion baht sales from last year's Home Building and Materials EXPO. This decline is attributed to economic conditions, political factors, and consumer confidence that have not fully recovered. However, this decrease reflects a positive outlook for the home building market, as the sales performance exceeded many expectations given the current economic situation,” Mr. Anantakorn stated.

The association is preparing to build on the success achieved and will use insights from this event to develop the 'Home Building FOCUS 2026', scheduled for March 2026, focusing on more targeted audience segments through precise marketing and communication strategies. Additionally, they aim to elevate the standards of the event by gathering leading home building companies, service providers, and quality materials in one place, facilitating easier comparisons and quicker decision-making for attendees looking to build homes.
