BGRIM Power Public Company Limited, or BGRIM, is preparing to offer registered bonds, non-subordinated, unsecured, and with a bondholder representative, for the second time in 2025, with terms of 5 to 7 years to the general public (retail investors and/or institutional investors), along with Blue Bonds or blue bonds with terms of 3 to 10 years for institutional investors and/or large investors.

The Blue Bond is an environmental conservation bond (marine resources) categorized as a type of bond aimed at raising funds for projects that benefit the environment and marine resources specifically. This marks BGRIM's first offering of this type of bond, aligning with BGRIM's sustainability strategy and reflecting its role as a pioneer in utilizing Blue Bonds for renewable energy projects in the Thai private sector.

The Blue Bonds that BGRIM will issue and offer this time consist of three sets of bonds with terms of 3 years, 4 years, and 10 years, offered to institutional investors (excluding individual retail investors) and/or large investors, with the purpose of using the funds for BGRIM's offshore wind power projects in the Republic of Korea.

Additionally, BGRIM is also issuing bonds to be offered to the general public, consisting of two sets aimed at repaying existing bonds that are due, with the details as follows:

  • Set 4: 5-year term with a fixed interest rate of [2.90 - 3.10]% per annum.
  • Set 5: 7-year term with a fixed interest rate of [3.20 - 3.40]% per annum.

The first set of bonds is a zero-coupon bond, which does not pay interest during the bond's term, while sets 2 to 5 pay fixed interest every 6 months throughout the bond's term, with the final interest rate to be announced later. Regarding credit ratings, BGRIM has received a corporate credit rating of "A" with a "stable" outlook, and the credit rating for the bonds being offered is "A-" from TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. as of September 5, 2025, reflecting BGRIM's potential, stability, and financial strength.

The offering is expected to open for investors to subscribe to the bonds from [November 10 – 12, 2025], with a minimum subscription of 100,000 Baht and multiples of 100,000 Baht, sold through 9 leading financial institutions, including Bangkok Bank (excluding micro branches), Kasikorn Bank, UOB, CIMB Thai, Government Savings Bank, Kiatnakin Phatra Securities, Asia Plus Securities, Krungthai XSpring Securities, and Yuanta Securities.

BGRIM has been operating in Thailand for 147 years, proven by its success and continuous growth, aiming to become a leading global energy producer and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, with a target to increase its production capacity to 10,000 megawatts by 2030.
