In an era where sustainability has become the core of real estate development, combined with a grand vision to drive the housing and design industry towards sustainability, Sansiri, a leader in property development in Thailand, is moving forward by partnering with DECAAR by SCG, a leader in decorative material innovation. Together, they are stepping into a new chapter of sustainability through the upcycling of construction waste into high-quality decorative materials. This initiative is being piloted at the "Demi Rama 9 - Meng Chai" and "Narasiri Boromrachachonnani" projects.

This collaboration merges a vision focused on reducing waste and maximizing resource utilization, integrating Sansiri's #WastetoWORTH concept with DECAAR by SCG's “Turn Waste to Value” initiative. They are collecting leftover roof tiles from Sansiri's construction projects and combining them with glass scraps gathered from communities nationwide, entering the upcycling process to create high-quality outdoor landscape materials like cement tiles that rival traditional materials. Additionally, the decorative facade walls have received Green Label certification, and the Ventola cement floor tiles have been awarded a carbon footprint certification for circular economy products, making them the first in Thailand in the construction materials category for flooring and wall coverings, with greenhouse gas emissions of only 25.4 kg/sq.m. This collaboration helps reduce the use of natural resources by utilizing recycled materials in production, accounting for 40% of all materials used. The SCG Ventola Glimmer cement floor tiles in Urban Grey replace Cobble Stone, designed to be elegantly beautiful like real stone, enhancing the appeal of homes and surrounding project areas.

Sansiri has elevated its role from a housing developer to a leader in transformation with the vision of “Race to Net Zero,” driven by practical actions across all dimensions. This collaboration with DECAAR by SCG is not just about developing new products; it paves the way for a grand future where the Thai real estate industry can grow sustainably on a foundation of global responsibility, environmental care, and the creation of a better society, serving as an inspiration and model for sustainable real estate development in the region.
