Western Decor Corporation Public Company Limited (WDC), a specialist in premium decorative tiles, is committed to a sustainable design vision while driving innovations that cater to the lifestyles of modern consumers. The company continues to inspire and propel the architecture industry by participating in "Architect '68," marking the 18th year of the brand's involvement. This year, WDC presented a booth under the concept "Live Differently," emphasizing the importance of creating lifestyle distinctions through cutting-edge product innovations to enhance quality of life.

Mr. Bandit Hiranyanithiwatana, CEO of Western Decor Corporation, stated that the Architect event serves as a crucial platform for WDC to communicate directly with target groups, including designers, manufacturers, and industry operators who play significant roles in driving new innovations in the market. He believes that when all sectors collaborate in development, the ultimate benefits will reach consumers. Therefore, WDC emphasizes presenting products that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also meet practical usage needs comprehensively.

“This year’s WDC booth was designed by the company’s own design team, focusing on organic concepts that connect with nature. It features soft curves and a variety of tile textures to reflect the company’s commitment to environmental care and its ongoing ESG philosophy. A key highlight of the booth is the VENENO Collection, inspired by European Limestone, which embodies sophisticated simplicity. It incorporates UNITEC Technology, offering a soft touch similar to R9 tiles, reducing slip risks with an R10 slip resistance rating, and is easy to clean—all integrated into a single tile to meet the needs of various spaces, both indoors and outdoors, wet and dry areas, floors, and walls, thereby enhancing the quality of life for users in every dimension.

In terms of marketing strategy, WDC continues to position its brand within the premium mass segment, prioritizing clear and straightforward communication while delivering a refined brand experience to expand its customer base among middle to upper segments, which have spending power and value functionality and innovation in living spaces, particularly in luxury projects such as hotels, residences, hospitals, and shopping malls like Parade Building in One Bangkok, Emsphere, and Grand Center Point Lumpini.

Currently, WDC has a total of 9 showrooms nationwide and plans to expand by 2 more this year, along with relocating its Chiang Mai showroom to a larger space. In the international market, WDC aims to penetrate the Southeast Asian region, currently in the planning and preparation phase for future business expansion. The company places great importance on comprehensive market research alongside strategies that align with the brand's potential and customer needs in each area, all part of a sustainable growth plan that we have laid out.

Last year, WDC achieved all its targets, including sales reaching 1 billion baht and the development of new innovations, which are the main goals for each year. In 2025, the company will collaborate with Ms. Cherry Khemupsorn Sirisukha, an actress and influential figure in environmental advocacy, as a Friend of the Brand to reflect the company's commitment to promoting sustainability and beauty simultaneously while strengthening the brand further.

WDC also prioritizes product development to meet the trend of eco-friendly materials, with the main goal of creating tile products that can replace natural materials. The belief is that the more realistic the tile products are in terms of patterns and textures, the less likely people will use real stone, which harms nature. Additionally, WDC products carry the EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) label, making it the only company in Thailand with EPD products priced within the Asian market structure, allowing many operators to purchase EPD-labeled products at reasonable prices. The benefits extend beyond just claiming to be eco-friendly; using these products can contribute to LEED certification, which is crucial for green buildings, ensuring that customers can utilize them effectively.

With groundbreaking innovations, meticulous design, and a steadfast vision for sustainability, WDC is not only a leader in premium decorative materials but also an inspiration for the Thai and ASEAN design industries as they move towards a truly beautiful and safe living environment.
