Thai Airways Ready to Enter a New Era with the Launch of THE NEW WORLDS OF TOMORROW, Celebrating 65 Years by Elevating Travel in Every Dimension
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited is stepping into its 65th year, proudly sharing the essence of Thai culture with people around the world. The company hosted the event “THE NEW WORLDS OF TOMORROW” to present a new direction for the organization in celebration of its 65th anniversary. The focus is on enhancing travel experiences in every dimension, combining the charm of Thai culture seamlessly with cutting-edge aviation technology to meet the needs of modern travelers comprehensively. This reflects the commitment to continuous development and reinforces its role as a Thai airline ready to compete on the global stage.
The event took place on April 29, 2025, at the World Ballroom of Centara Grand at CentralWorld, reflecting the elegant and stable growth of the company after successfully implementing its rehabilitation plan. It is expected to return to trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand by July this year. The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibul, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, along with Mr. Piyasawat Amranand, Chairman of the Rehabilitation Executive Committee, Mr. Chansilp Treenuchakorn, Executive of the Rehabilitation Plan, Mr. Chai Eamsiri, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Korakot Chatasinh, Chief Commercial Officer, and other executives of Thai Airways, amidst a gathering of distinguished guests including special customers, business partners, and media.

- A new look for the magazine “Sawasdee” to reach modern readers
This event featured the launch of the revamped magazine “Sawasdee”, which is a transformation of an important media that has long been associated with Thai Airways, making it modern and accessible to a new generation of readers.
Mr. Kittipong Sarsomboon, Director of Customer Service and Marketing at Thai Airways, as the Executive Editor and Mr. Hans Mueller, Executive Creative Director, revealed that the magazine “Sawasdee” will return in a comprehensive format, including Printed Version, e-Magazine, and Sawasdee Online website to cater to the lifestyle of travelers in the digital world.
- Special Edition Amenities Kit by the brand SIRIVANNAVARI
Additionally, a special edition Amenities Kit was launched, created in collaboration with the luxury fashion brand SIRIVANNAVARI, inspired by the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, the brand's creative director. This Amenities Kit bag is filled with stories of Thai art and culture, presented in two designs: one featuring a white and blue batik pattern that reflects the beauty of southern Thai textiles, combined with the Rajakanya flower pattern, which is a fabric design granted by the designer to the Thai batik group, adorned with symbols of elephants, peacocks, as well as iris and orchid flowers, which are symbols of the SIRIVANNAVARI brand and Thai Airways. The second design features a colorful garden blooming with iris and orchid flowers on a graphic fabric patterned with horseshoes, a symbol of good luck, alternating with the S Monogram of the SIRIVANNAVARI brand in bright pink and purple tones.

Inside the bag, there are Hand Cream in rose scent, Lip Balm for lip care, and Deodorant Spray with a hint of Thai wisdom from SIRIVANNAVARI Maison, along with an eye mask in the same colors and patterns as the bag, bamboo toothbrush, MARVIS toothpaste, and noise-canceling earplugs. All items have been specially selected for business class passengers traveling to four fashion and lifestyle destinations: Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai, allowing them to truly experience the definition of Smooth as Silk starting from May 1, 2025.
- Deliciousness Campaign presenting international-level Thai flavors
For the food aspect, the campaign “Good Taste for a Good Cause” was launched, selecting quality products from Thai producers to promote Thai goods to an international level, in line with the government’s Soft Power policy. The Thai Airways TG Rice Crackers, Ganesh Chocolate, Doi Tung Coffee, and desserts from After You Dessert Café, the “Taste of Thai Tales campaign features special Thai dishes created by renowned Thai chefs, along with the “Streets to Sky campaign, which selects signature dishes from famous Thai restaurants such as Pad Thai with Mung Bean Noodles, Jae Fai's Stir-Fried Noodles, and Chicken Rice with a special taste served on flights to create a new experience for passengers. Additionally, premium caviar and special drinks “Oriental Dawn and Rose of Royal Voyage have been crafted for first-class, Royal First, and Royal Silk business class passengers.

On this occasion, Mr. Chai Eamsiri, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Airways, also announced the readiness to receive new aircraft, the Airbus A321 Neo, which will be operational by the end of 2025. It is expected to enhance the fleet's capabilities, making Thai Airways more modern, energy-efficient, and fully responsive to the needs of modern passengers.
“On flights operated by the Airbus A321 Neo, passengers will experience comfort from the in-flight entertainment system installed in every seat, along with free Wi-Fi for all levels of Royal Orchid Plus members, reflecting our attention to every detail of the travel experience,” said Mr. Chai Eamsiri.
