TTB expresses its condolences to those affected by the major earthquake on March 28, 2025, and is concerned for all customers. We are accelerating assistance to alleviate hardships, covering individual customers, business operators, and SMEs who may face housing and business operational issues, as well as enhancing liquidity to help everyone regain stability and move forward towards better financial lives.

Mr. Piti Thantakesem, CEO of TMBThanachart, stated that TTB is concerned about customers affected by this earthquake, which has caused widespread damage to property and livelihoods, particularly for TTB customers suffering from damage to their homes or business establishments, which may lead to increased expenses. The bank is providing urgent assistance to help customers cope with this crisis and alleviate the hardships faced, hoping they can recover, regain stability, and move towards better financial lives.

Details of Assistance are as follows:

General individual customers and salary account customers with a ttb all free account receive free accident coverage.

Customers can claim medical expenses from accidents up to 3,000 baht per accident. In case of death, coverage is 20 times the deposit amount, up to 3 million baht, provided that the deposit in the ttb all free account is not less than 5,000 baht every day throughout the month, and receive free coverage in the following month. Customers can check their eligibility through the ttb touch app by going to the deposit account menu > select account information > select accident insurance from all free > select the all free e-care card to view coverage status.

TTB home loan customers and former TMB customers whose homes have been damaged will receive free home insurance coverage, and in case of incurred expenses, can request special assistance.

Customers can automatically receive earthquake coverage under the “free insurance” provision by checking for damage and filing a claim at 1292 with Allianz Ayudhya Insurance Public Company Limited. For customers with property insurance such as Home Guard, Home Add-on, and Happy Home, claims can be filed with Thanachart Insurance Public Company Limited at 1519, press 3, then press 2.

For home loan customers (of all types) who have suffered severe damage and incurred expenses, special assistance can be requested from March 30 to June 30, 2025, along with evidence of damage, and they will receive:

  • Debt repayment suspension for 3 months or
  • Request for additional credit to repair the home through the home cash withdrawal card at a special interest rate of 0% for 2 months. If customers already have the home cash withdrawal card, they will also receive special interest assistance at 0% for 2 months.

Customers can register for this assistance through 3 channels: the ttb touch app via Yindee, selecting to chat with an officer, or ttb contact center 1428 or at TTB branches that are open.

Business and SME customers affected by business and operational disruptions can check their coverage and request funding for repairs.

  • Customers with property risk insurance such as Industrial All Risks, Fire Extends Earthquake, Contractors’ All Risks, and Business Interruption with TTB Broker will receive coverage for damages caused by earthquakes as specified in the policy. If damage is found, claims can be filed with TTB Broker at Tel. 0 2783 0200, 0 2783 0300 from 08:30-19:00.
  • Customers without insurance who need funds for repairs or customers with insurance who need additional funds for repairs can apply for a loan for repairing business establishments for SMEs with a maximum loan period of 10 years at a fixed interest rate of 3.5% per year for the first 2 years, and pay only interest for up to 12 months.
