Seacon Launches MyScape: A Future Space on Srinakarin
SEACON SHOPPING CENTERS is moving forward with a major transformation of its shopping centers, announcing a 5-year development plan to enhance the shopping center's potential and strengthen its position as a leader in the eastern Bangkok market. The launch of "MyScape" marks a new area at Seacon Square Srinakarin, along with upgrades to Seacon Bangkae, creating a new experience that caters to consumers in the Thonburi area.

Towards the Future! Seacon Moves Forward with Transformations Across Its Shopping Centers
Mr. Tatiya Sorasothikun, Managing Director of Seacon Development Public Company Limited, stated that shopping centers today must be more than just places to shop; they need to provide experiences, inspire, and reflect the identity of consumers. With this concept in mind, the company has set a 5-year development plan to elevate its centers to modern, leading shopping destinations that cater to the lifestyles of all generations, with a budget of 5 billion baht. The plan focuses on significant projects alongside the use of clean energy and sustainable practices to benefit society and the environment. The emphasis is on upgrading Seacon Square Srinakarin with structural enhancements and a new look, launching "MyScape," a special zone that combines lifestyle and creativity to meet the needs of modern consumers, while also upgrading Seacon Bangkae to become a hub for leading brands and new lifestyles, creating a unique experience and adding value to the shopping center. Given the intense competition in the shopping center business and changing consumer behaviors, shopping centers must differentiate themselves and offer new attractions to attract their target audiences. We are transforming Seacon into a shopping center with a distinct identity, clearly different from others, by integrating various Specialty Zones and Attractions.
Additionally, Dr. Pornt Sorasothikun, Deputy Managing Director of Seacon Development Public Company Limited, added, "In addition to expanding various projects, we also prioritize sustainability strategies. Seacon Square is one of the shopping centers that utilizes clean energy the most in Thailand, reducing emissions and using energy efficiently through solar rooftop projects. We are also advancing the first air-conditioned solar-powered bus stop in Thailand, a model for energy conservation and environmental protection. Furthermore, we are collaborating with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to promote the 'No Trash Together' project to address environmental issues and overflowing waste in the city, as well as conducting training for operators and shops within the center on proper waste separation. We are also developing Health Tech, a health tech center offering online clinics for easy, accurate, and fast health checks, providing health services to the local population through technology. We believe that innovation and social responsibility are key to sustainable growth, and we will continue to build on this approach to create a better future for everyone."
5 Major Projects Transforming Seacon
Seacon Square is developing 5 projects to enhance customer experiences and reinforce the shopping center's potential as a destination that meets all lifestyles across an area of nearly 100,000 square meters. Mr. Surachai Jaroenpong, Deputy Managing Director of Seacon Development Public Company Limited, stated that these include MunMun Srinakarin, transforming over 27,000 square meters into Thailand's first art and craft shopping center, an Art Destination, as well as upgrading the Lotus’s area from the 1st to the 4th floor, totaling around 40,000 square meters, into a comprehensive lifestyle zone featuring unique brand restaurants.
Notably, there will be educational zones, health-oriented sports zones, and entertainment areas, along with a revamped food court, which is considered one of the most beautiful food courts in Thailand. Additionally, the indoor amusement park, Yoyo Land, will be improved to cater to modern families. Infrastructure will also be developed to enhance customer convenience with two additional projects: a direct connection to the Yellow Line BTS from Suan Luang Rama IX Station to the shopping center, and a new parking building that can accommodate an additional 2,000 cars, bringing the total capacity to over 10,000 cars, to further enhance convenience for the increasing number of customers. These projects are currently under construction. Another significant project, MyScape, will transform a large area within Seacon Square into a new community designed to meet modern lifestyle needs, collaborating with leading brand partners to create a modern and unique shopping destination.

“MyScape” A New Lifestyle Destination in Srinakarin meets the unique lifestyle needs of consumers with the motto “Where Specialty Brands Meet Specialty Minds.”
“Shopping centers today must adapt to rapidly changing lifestyles, as consumers seek experiences beyond mere shopping. They want places that reflect their identity, have unique characteristics, and provide social and cultural value. Thus, "MyScape" has been developed as an "experience space" that combines community lifestyle, shopping center, and a hub for leading brands to maximize customer benefits. It is more than just a retail space; it is a platform that allows customers and brands to connect with each other. We believe this project will resonate with the new generation, located in the heart of a high purchasing power community in eastern Bangkok, surrounded by luxury residential projects, leading international schools, and direct connections to the Yellow Line BTS,” said Ms. Prapha Jitwiwatporn, Director of Business Development at Seacon Development Public Company Limited.
MyScape is a hub for Specialty Brands that offers truly unique experiences across an area of over 40,000 square meters, developed into 4 main zones to cater to different lifestyles:
