Kasikorn Bank Launches KONCIERGE+, the First Comprehensive Hotel Business Solution Platform
Kasikorn Bank has launched "KONCIERGE+", the first platform that integrates comprehensive solutions for hotel businesses. This initiative aims to help hotels increase revenue and reduce expenses, making it easier to access technology for hotel management. The platform includes a complete range of solutions such as a property management system, sales channel and pricing management system, and customer experience management system. Additionally, it enhances competitive potential to seize growth opportunities in Thailand's tourism sector, as Thailand is a key landmark for international tourists, with an expected 37.5 million foreign visitors by 2025.
Mr. Pipit Anekniyom, the CEO of Kasikorn Bank, stated that the tourism sector plays a crucial role in the country's economy, with a continuous growth in the number of foreign tourists. By 2025, it is projected that revenue from foreign tourists will reach 1.78 trillion baht. In 2024, the statistics showed that accommodation expenses from both Thai and foreign tourists amounted to approximately 950 billion baht, with the majority spent on large hotels, while only 37% went to medium and small hotels. Throughout the years, Kasikorn Bank has consistently supported the tourism sector in terms of finance, sales channel vouchers, and promotions. This time, the bank aims to enable operators to access technology to enhance their competitive edge by developing KONCIERGE+, the first comprehensive hotel business solution platform. Mr. Tienprasit Chaiyapattanun, President of the Thai Hotels Association, added that the tourism industry has significant growth potential. Currently, there are over 16,000 hotels in Thailand, but obstacles preventing hotels from achieving their full potential include: 1) static marketing and pricing strategies that do not adapt to changing circumstances; 2) a lack of marketing to build their own brand image; 3) increased demand from tourists post-COVID, but a reduced workforce leading to service efficiency issues; and 4) limited access to various technologies, resulting in poor management efficiency. The Thai Hotels Association is delighted that Kasikorn Bank recognizes the importance of the hotel industry and has created this platform as an option for hotel businesses to strengthen their operations.
