N.C. Housing Public Company Limited operates in the real estate sector, both horizontal and vertical, under the concept of Home Expert Living Care. It is the first company in Thailand to receive ISO certification, pioneering green recycling innovations and waste management to create a model for livable communities, promoting a circular economy and enhancing community welfare for a sustainable society and environment.

Dr. Somchao Tanthatherdtham, Chief Executive Officer of N.C. Housing Public Company Limited, spoke about the collaboration through an MOU for waste management and recycling with WasteBuy Delivery Company. This partnership aims to expand environmental responsibility as a real estate developer with over 75 projects, currently serving a large community under the N.C. brand, which includes more than 12,000 families in the northern region. The initiative emphasizes the importance of environmental awareness in the community, encouraging residents to participate in systematic recycling and waste management.

1. Elevate sustainability towards a balance of environmental, social, economic dimensions, and good governance towards ESG 2025.

2. Improve material management (waste) recycling through effective waste transport management across all N.C. projects.

3. Enhance efficiency by educating on source separation to elevate recycling towards sustainable communities.

4. Introduce recycling or upcycling processes to add value to recycled materials in an environmentally friendly manner.

With a structured waste management system, every family in the community can participate in sorting waste, including food scraps that can be utilized for bio-fertilizer or animal feed, creating a complete cycle. Recyclable waste such as plastic bottles, glass bottles, etc., can be sorted to add value to recycled materials.

Dr. Itthikorn Srijanban, Chairman of WasteBuy Delivery Company, stated that this is a new dimension for the WasteBuy Delivery project. On average, out of 100,000 tons of waste, 30% can be recycled. If we can sort more than 3 million tons of waste annually, it will generate income from selling recycled waste back to the community, which requires community participation and cooperation from other private sectors. The WasteBuy Delivery project has already facilitated the collection of over 3,300 tons of recyclable waste in Bangkok, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by over 3,000 tons of CO2 equivalent, which is equivalent to planting over 300,000 trees. We hope that this collaboration with N.C. Housing will raise awareness and encourage greater community participation.” The use of renewable resources will thus become tangible, with the launch of a pilot waste management learning center and the rollout of the “WasteBuy Delivery” project to actively support waste sorting in the community. We hope this project will significantly reduce waste management costs.

This collaboration emphasizes the importance of creating livable communities to initiate positive change together, implementing practical measures to educate on proper waste sorting to reduce waste disposal and promote the correct management of used packaging. The partnership with WasteBuy Delivery invites and encourages gradual changes among residents in the community and consumers in the surrounding areas to foster a sustainable community model for every family and future generations.
