Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), a Thai real estate developer focused on comprehensive lifestyle solutions, has made history by being one of the recipients of the prestigious BSA Building Safety Awards 2024 from the Building Inspectors Association, breaking the previous record with 47 awards in 2024. This includes winning the Diamond-level award for outstanding safety for the first time in the hotel category from the Le Méridien Bangkok, as well as Platinum awards across all business sectors, including the Interlink Tower Bangna in the office category, the "Empire" building in the shopping center category from Gateway at Bangsue, and the Bangkok Marriott The Surawong in the hotel category. Additionally, AWC received the award for sustainable facility management (from the Thailand Facility Management Association or TFMA), highlighted by the FM Diamond award from the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel and two Bronze awards at the GENTHAI AWARDS 2024 for generator installation and maintenance.

AWC has set a new record by winning 47 awards at the annual BSA Building Safety Awards 2024, which are categorized as follows:

  • 22 awards for outstanding building safety (BSA Building Safety Awards 2024) from the Building Inspectors Association (BSA), including 1 Diamond award, 4 Platinum awards, 7 Gold awards, 6 Silver awards, and 4 Bronze awards.
  • 23 awards for sustainable facility management from the Thailand Facility Management Association (TFMA), including 1 FM Diamond award, 2 FM Gold awards, 3 FM Silver awards, and 17 COA buildings.
  • 2 Bronze awards at the GENTHAI AWARDS 2024 from the Thai Generator Association for generator installation and maintenance.

Receiving awards in all three categories reinforces AWC's vision to "Create a Better Future" by committing to sustainable business practices under the 3BETTERs framework: Better Planet (environmental strategies), Better People (safety for building users and communities), and Better Prosperity (economic growth). AWC is dedicated to developing buildings and facilities from the outset to meet green building certification standards, focusing on occupational health, safety, and environmental sustainability to create long-term value for building users and stakeholders, while also strengthening the real estate industry in Thailand.

The success of AWC in receiving these prestigious awards is attributed to its emphasis on excellent building and facility management according to international standards. This includes prioritizing well-designed buildings equipped with fire prevention and suppression systems that are always operational, as well as effective safety management, which significantly reduces risks. AWC also focuses on efficient energy management within buildings for sustainable operations, while minimizing environmental impacts through initiatives such as Energy Saving Initiatives (ESI) and Energy Efficiency Plans (EEP).

The BSA Building Safety Awards are prestigious awards that recognize buildings with clear safety management and measures, as verified by the Building Inspectors Association. Established in 2012, the 2024 awards recognized a total of 56 buildings for outstanding safety. The sustainable facility management awards, now in their fourth year, recognized a total of 34 buildings selected by the professional association aimed at promoting sustainable building development and management according to international principles, emphasizing the establishment of risk management policies and the use of innovative technologies in building resource management, as well as engaging building users in sustainable resource management activities.
