Dusit Thani Group is continuing its business expansion by announcing the signing of a strategic hotel management agreement with Sharavathi Hotel and Resort Private Limited, a leading luxury hotel and resort developer in India, to operate Devarana Sakleshpur, Karnataka – A Dusit Retreat, which is scheduled to launch in March 2028. This marks the first 'Devarana - Dusit Retreats' project signed outside of China, reinforcing Dusit Thani Group's commitment to expanding its luxury resort brand to exceptional destinations worldwide.

Mr. Jill Kretaletch, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited stated that Devarana Sakleshpur, Karnataka – A Dusit Retreat will operate under the “Devarana - Dusit Retreats” brand, which Dusit Thani positions as a luxury offering. This will be the first service in India and the first partnership signed outside of China, due to the perfect harmony between the serene natural beauty of Sakleshpur and the essence of Devarana – Dusit Retreats, making this stunning destination ideal for Dusit Thani's luxury brand.

Devarana Sakleshpur, Karnataka – A Dusit Retreat is designed to provide meaningful relaxation experiences for travelers both from India and abroad, featuring 75 villas and suites ranging from 47 to 90 square meters, with 25 units offering private pools. Guests will enjoy health facilities, including the Devarana Wellness Center, which features a health club, spa, gym, steam room, and sauna. Additional amenities include an infinity pool, an Indian restaurant, and a health-focused all-day dining venue emphasizing nutritious meals.

Sakleshpur is a town located in the Western Ghats, approximately a 4-hour drive from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. It is renowned for its coffee, tea, and spice plantations, as well as ancient temples and beautiful trekking routes through the Baisal Forest, a globally recognized biodiversity hotspot. Nearby popular attractions include the star-shaped Manjarabad Fort, offering panoramic views of the mountains, and the Jenukallu Gudda peak, which provides a view of the Arabian Sea.
