Krungsri Consumer Introduces Assistance Measures for Customers Affected by Floods
Krungsri Consumer the provider of credit cards and personal loans has launched two assistance measures to help customers by allowing a debt moratorium for up to three billing cycles, or by reducing monthly payment amounts through an extension of the repayment period, aiming to alleviate the burden and help ease the difficulties faced by credit card and personal loan customers in the flood-affected areas.
Mr. Athit Rujirawat Chairman of Krungsri Consumer stated that “to help alleviate the suffering of those affected by the floods occurring in various areas, Krungsri Consumer, as a provider of credit cards and personal loans, which includes Krungsri credit cards, Krungsri First Choice credit cards, Central The One credit cards, and Lotus credit cards, has expedited the launch of two measures to assist customers in flood-affected areas, which may temporarily impact their ability to repay debts. These measures include a debt moratorium for up to three billing cycles for customers with normal account status, and a reduction in monthly payment amounts through an extension of the repayment period for all customer groups (excluding customers who are already receiving assistance under other measures). Customers of Krungsri Consumer credit cards and personal loans who wish to seek assistance can contact the company to register their intent, and each case will be considered individually.”

Assistance Measures for Customers Affected by Floods for Krungsri Consumer Credit Card and Personal Loan Customers are as follows:
Measure 1: Debt Moratorium for Up to 3 Billing Cycles for customers with normal account status in flood-affected areas, allowing a moratorium of up to 3 billing cycles from September to November 30, 2023. During this moratorium, interest will continue to be calculated at the normal reducing balance rate.
Customers wishing to receive assistance from this program can contact the company to register their intent from September 9 to 30, 2023 through the Krungsri Consumer credit card and loan member service center (available 24/7) or Helpline: 02-714-5155 (during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM), and each case will be considered individually (consideration will be based on the company's criteria and conditions).
Measure 2: Reduction of Monthly Payment Amounts by Extending the Repayment Period (Debt Restructuring) for all customer groups in flood-affected areas (excluding customers who are already receiving assistance under other measures). Interested customers can contact the company to register their intent through the member service center (available 24/7) or Helpline: 02-714-5155 (during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM), and each case will be considered individually (consideration will be based on the company's criteria and conditions).
