The SRIPANWA Trust has demonstrated solid performance in the first half of 2023, continuing to pay dividends exceeding 100 million baht following the COVID-19 crisis. The tourism sector has seen a remarkable rebound, with international visitors to Thailand reaching 17.5 million, while Phuket remains a dream destination for over 5.1 million tourists. This surge has led to a significant increase in hotel occupancy rates, with plans to distribute the third dividend of 30 million baht by September 9.

Mr. Songkran Issara, a director of Charn Issara REIT Management Co., Ltd., announced that on August 7, 2023, the company approved the payment of dividends from the performance of the SRIPANWA hotel real estate investment trust for the second quarter of 2023 (from April 1 to June 30, 2023) at a rate of 0.1064 baht per unit, totaling 29,692,409.60 baht. The company plans to distribute these benefits on September 9, 2023, marking a continuous dividend payment since the beginning of 2023, which included 50 million baht on February 27, 2023, and another 30 million baht on May 13, 2023, bringing the total dividends paid to 100 million baht.

In the first half of 2023, the tourism sector has shown a remarkable increase, with 17.5 million tourists visiting Thailand and 5.1 million visiting Phuket. The top ten countries sending tourists to Phuket include Russia, China, India, Australia, the UK, Malaysia, Germany, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Singapore. Notably, a significant number of Chinese tourists are classified as F.I.T (Free Individual Travelers), representing a new trend in modern tourism. The influx of international tourists has led to a rise in occupancy rates at the SRIPANWA hotel in Phuket, nearing pre-COVID-19 levels, resulting in continuous improvement in the trust's performance.

“In 2022, Thailand welcomed 28 million tourists, with 8.3 million visiting Phuket. In the first half of 2023, from January to June, 17.5 million tourists have already arrived in Thailand, with 5.1 million in Phuket. These figures are impressive, and we anticipate that by the end of 2023, the number of tourists visiting Thailand will exceed the Tourism Authority of Thailand's forecast of 30-35 million,” Mr. Songkran stated.

Currently, the SRIPANWA Trust has total assets valued at over 4 billion baht, comprising 45 units in the first hotel project, including 38 luxury pool villas and 7 pool suites, situated on 21 rai, 2 ngan, and 55 square wah in Vichit, Phuket. The second hotel project consists of two luxury hotel buildings with 30 rooms located within The Habita building and a three-story single-family vacation home (X29) on 6 rai, 0 ngan, and 50.6 square wah in Vichit, Phuket.
