Pruksa Restructures Leadership to Strengthen Business Groups, Aiming for Sustainable and Stable Growth
Pruksa Holding has announced a restructuring of its senior management team to strengthen its business groups, appointing four new executives with the goal of achieving stable and sustainable growth across all business sectors. “Piya Prayong” has been appointed as CEO of Inno Home, “Teera Thongwilai” as CEO of Pruksa Real Estate, “Surawit Chaitamrongkul” as CEO of Wimut Holding, and “Porntep Supatharatar” as Group CCO of Pruksa Holding, effective from August 1, 2024. This restructuring aims to enhance the agility of each unit, allowing them to manage and plan their operations independently, striving for success in line with business goals and the organization's vision of delivering the value of living well and happily.
Uthen Lohachitpitak, CEO of Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, stated that the company's board has approved the organizational restructuring and the appointment of senior executives as detailed below:
- Piya Prayong will take on the role of CEO of Inno Home Construction Co., Ltd. with the important mission of leading the company, leveraging over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to expand business in this large market, which has a private construction value of over 300 billion baht. The company sees growth opportunities in this market.
In the past year, Piya Prayong has played a crucial role in promoting the construction of homes using new systems focused on achieving zero waste (Zero Waste Construction), improving the efficiency and quality of contractors, and developing energy-efficient homes based on the “Passive Home” concept to meet new standards for sustainability in energy and the environment in Thailand, or Tree Certified Home, aiming towards the next step of creating Carbon Neutral Homes and striving for new standards in the Green Procurement Supply Chain, which is a key plan for fostering growth.
The company aims to leverage its expertise in producing precast components and modular prefabricated homes to integrate the advantages of past successes, building a strong foundation and expanding competitive capabilities in the construction business, which is one of Pruksa's long-term strategic businesses that aims to create a living environment of “Live well, Stay well.”
- Teera Thongwilai will serve as CEO of Pruksa Real Estate Public Company Limited, overseeing business operations and continuing to strengthen the real estate business, which is a core business according to the company’s strategy of Strengthening the Core. Teera has been with Pruksa for over 23 years and has developed the concept of “Better Home and Healthier Community,” promoting a shared living environment with communal spaces for everyone, fostering a supportive lifestyle in healthy communities.
This year, the company plans to launch 30 new projects valued at approximately 29 billion baht, increasing the proportion of products in the mid-to-high segment to over 50%. Additionally, it plans to open six Wellness Residence projects worth over 10 billion baht, accounting for 34% of the total project value launched this year, addressing the demand for housing designs that prioritize health, happiness, and quality of life for residents, integrated with Smart Home technology from the MyHaus application to enhance safety and convenience for residents and property management, setting a new standard for living and strengthening the core business.
- Surawit Chaitamrongkul, currently the Deputy Managing Director of Finance at Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, will take on the role of CEO of Wimut Holding Co., Ltd., driving the long-term growth of the healthcare business and enhancing collaboration across the group in the Wellness Residence sector, promoting health services accessible to all Pruksa residents.
Surawit has over 20 years of experience in finance and investment, and 10 years in healthcare. In the past two years, he has been instrumental in driving joint ventures and partnerships to prepare Pruksa for growth. This appointment comes at a pivotal time as Wimut's business excels in holistic care, with a team of doctors and nurses and partnerships with leading domestic and international partners, combined with Wimut Hospital's expertise in neurology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and diabetes treatment, positioning the new leader as a key to driving further growth through Inorganic Growth, leading the medical team and hospital management towards a revenue target of 4 billion baht and creating added value for the group in the future.
- Porntep Supatharatar, currently the CEO of Inno Precast Co., Ltd., will take on the role of Deputy Managing Director of Group Administration at Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, overseeing the operations of support units including procurement, legal affairs, digital and innovation, and sustainable development, aiming to transform and create new standards by reducing processes under the concept of “Lean Process,” identifying work steps, problems, and obstacles, evaluating and avoiding waste in the organization (Waste Walk) to reduce time and costs while creating a Center of Excellence and promoting group growth simultaneously.
Porntep is one of the key leaders who has managed operations according to ESG principles, enabling the company to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 10,190 tons last year, while also reducing procurement processing time by over 16,000 man-days annually through the implementation of blockchain technology in the procurement system over the past two years.
The appointments of these executives align with the long-term succession planning that has undergone leadership development programs and participation in the Accelerate Impact with Pruksa program, emphasizing the importance of nurturing internal talent. The company believes that these executive appointments will lay a solid foundation for business growth, creating diverse business opportunities and continuously promoting social initiatives.
