SC Asset Partners with Daiwa House from Japan to Develop KROMO Hotel Project under the Curio Collection by Hilton Brand, Opening Late 2024
SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited or SC is entering its third decade and has recently launched SCX, a subsidiary engaged in Engine2 or Recurring Income (business that generates regular income), in partnership with Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. (Daiwa House), a leading real estate giant with nearly 70 years of experience from Japan, established in 1955 and the largest custom home builder in Japan. They announced a joint venture to develop the KROMO hotel project under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand, located opposite Emsphere, set to open in late 2024.

Mr. Natthapong Khunakarawong, CEO of SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited stated regarding this joint venture, "Daiwa House and SC share a common vision recognizing the growth opportunities in Thailand's tourism sector, which accounts for over 13% of GDP, with Bangkok being a top destination. The KROMO hotel project under the Curio Collection by Hilton is our first joint venture, with Daiwa House holding 49% and SCX 51%. There will be more projects in the future. Daiwa House has 70 years of experience in real estate and a diverse business portfolio similar to SC. This partnership not only strengthens our financial position but also facilitates the exchange of knowledge, experience, and culture, benefiting both organizations."

KROMO, Curio Collection by Hilton is the first hotel under the Curio Collection brand in Thailand, located in the heart of the city on Sukhumvit Road, directly opposite Emsphere, surrounded by leading office spaces and lifestyle shopping malls such as Emporium and Emquartier. It is conveniently accessible via the BTS Skytrain at Phrom Phong station and is set to open in late 2024.
