The Architect Expo '67 has officially begun, marking the 36th edition of the largest architectural technology and construction product exhibition in ASEAN, organized by the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, in collaboration with TTF International Co., Ltd. The concept for this year is "Collective Language: Experience Architecture," aiming to create awareness among people worldwide about architecture and design that transcends boundaries, much like the diversity of languages. The event will feature numerous exhibitions and highlight activities, showcasing over 100,000 products and services related to design, construction, and real estate from 1,000 leading brands both domestic and international, across a space of 75,000 square meters.
It is anticipated that up to 325,000 attendees will participate, generating an economic value of over 22 billion baht throughout the six-day event from April 30 to May 5, 2024, at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
Mr. Chana Samphalang, President of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, stated that the Architect Expo is a significant event for the Thai architectural community. The association has continuously organized this event for the 36th time to serve as a platform for showcasing professional architectural works and activities that promote the development of Thai architects' capabilities. It also provides a space for showcasing innovative technologies related to construction products and is an opportunity for entrepreneurs, the public, students, and anyone interested to update design trends, meet leading architects from Thailand and abroad, share experiences, and view and purchase newly launched construction products each year.

The Architect Expo '67 is scheduled to take place from April 30 to May 5, 2024, at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, under the concept "Collective Language: Experience Architecture." The goal is to create awareness among people worldwide about architecture and design that knows no boundaries, similar to communication through diverse languages. This reflects the 90-year commitment of the Association of Siamese Architects to foster positive movements in society and a shared future through exhibitions and numerous highlight activities that will occur at this event, including the display of products and services related to design, construction materials, and the launch of new technologies and innovations in architecture, all within a vast area of 75,000 square meters, making Architect Expo '67 the most comprehensive and grandest architectural and construction design exhibition in the ASEAN region.
The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage was established in 1934 with the aim of promoting the architectural profession to the general public and facilitating knowledge exchange among its members. To date, the association has been active in supporting and promoting academic, professional, and social aspects for a total of 90 years. In celebration of its 90th anniversary, the association plans to honor senior architects to recognize their contributions to the profession and the architectural community in Thailand over the years. The exhibition will showcase the history and works of honored senior architects, along with related activities such as workshops on modern architecture photography and short video contests. Everyone is invited to visit the exhibition honoring our architects and celebrate the 90th anniversary together.
Mr. Chutthaya Wet Sinthuphan, Chairman of Architect Expo '67, mentioned that interesting activities at this year's event include the ASA Professional Seminar 2024, a professional seminar aimed at supporting the work of architects, designers, and students, as well as the general public interested in the design and construction business.
The seminar aims to provide knowledge and present new insights, along with sharing beneficial experiences for work, helping to enhance the design and construction industry both domestically and internationally.

This year's ASA Professional Seminar is divided into seven parts, covering knowledge areas such as community architecture, conservation architecture, essential insights for future construction industry work, behind-the-scenes thoughts of this year's architects, research competition topics, and perspectives from new architects and designers.
Additionally, there will be case studies on new construction permit applications from Singapore. The organizers hope that participants in each segment of the ASA PROFESSIONAL SEMINAR will be able to apply new knowledge to advance the Thai design and construction industry in the future.
Ms. Kulthida Songkittipakdee, Chair of Architect Expo '67, announced that a highlight of this year is the ASA INTERNATIONAL FORUM 2024, featuring renowned global speakers who will decode the language of architecture through critical regionalism, based on the concepts and designs of both Thai and international architects. Notable speakers include Antoine Chaaya, a key partner of Renzo Piano from Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW), Ma Yansong, a famous Chinese architect from MAD Architects, Marina Tabassum, a Bangladeshi architect and Aga Khan award winner, as well as Daliana Suryawinata and Florian Heinzelmann, founders of SHAU from Indonesia, Erik L'Heureux, an associate professor and dean at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Ton Khao Panin, a professor at Silpakorn University and a Thai architect who founded Research Studio Panin. This AR (Augmented Reality) game will be located in the main area of the Main Exhibition, allowing participants to view the exhibition while collecting badges at designated points to exchange for special prizes each day. The rules and gameplay are simple: 1.) Players scan the QR Code for the activity to access the "ASA Collects" website. 2.)
