Kunlai Partners with UCO SDG to Create a Sustainable Green Village with Thailand's First Used Cooking Oil to Sustainable Aviation Fuel Project
Villa Kunlai Public Company Limited and UCO SDG have signed a memorandum of understanding to exchange knowledge on sustainability and environmental issues in a campaign to tackle the problem of non-biodegradable waste, specifically “Used Cooking Oil (UCO)”, which will be processed into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in collaboration with Thanachok Vegetable Oil (2012) Co., Ltd. and BSGF Co., Ltd., companies under Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, marking the first residential project of its kind in Thailand.

Ms. Prawirat Tevaaksorn, Chief Executive Officer of Villa Kunlai Public Company Limited (KUN), the developer of the “Kunlai” residential project, revealed that the company is committed to developing a new lifestyle housing project with the goal of “creating spaces, creating happiness” sustainably for a better future. They are partnering with UCO SDG Co., Ltd., an expert in sustainable development, to address the issue of non-biodegradable waste such as Used Cooking Oil (UCO) from households. Disposing of this waste improperly can harm the environment and the community. The two organizations will share knowledge to create green spaces and environmentally friendly living areas, aiming for a Green City and Green Village through the project that transforms used cooking oil from households in the residential community into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) with Thanachok Vegetable Oil (2012) Co., Ltd. and BSGF Co., Ltd., companies under Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited. Kunlai is confident that they will receive strong cooperation from the residents.

This collaboration aims to raise awareness among residents in the residential community about various environmental issues, fostering understanding and leading to practical changes for successful community cooperation.
“This collaboration represents a project that brings together the experience and expertise of partners with a shared goal of achieving environmental sustainability. It is a true connection for sustainable business success,” Ms. Prawirat stated.
