“AssetWise” builds on the GrowGreen concept by tapping into the electric vehicle trend, collaborating with Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) to install electric vehicle chargers (EV Charger) featuring the latest innovation PLUG ME EV to enhance the living experience for residents, highlighting convenience, cost reduction, and providing up to 12 charging stations, with the first installation at the “Atmoz Oasis On Nut” condominium, a new resort-style project, with plans to expand services to other projects in the future.

Mr. Wutthiphan Wiphanpong, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Business Sustainability and Environment at AssetWise Public Company Limited, stated that the trend of electric vehicle (EV) usage in Thailand is on the rise, as evidenced by the registration statistics showing nearly 80,000 electric vehicles registered in 2023. To support the growing trend of electric vehicles, AssetWise has partnered with Metropolitan Electricity Authority to install the latest EV Charger innovation PLUG ME EV at the “Atmoz Oasis On Nut” condominium, which currently has residents living there, to facilitate access to electric vehicle charging stations for AssetWise residents. This initiative aligns with the company's sustainable business development and environmental friendliness, under the GrowGreen concept focusing on Energy Efficiency and Clean Air, promoting the use of renewable energy and helping to reduce PM 2.5 dust levels while developing real estate projects with ESG considerations in all dimensions, supporting national policies that encourage increased electric vehicle usage.

“This collaboration reflects AssetWise's commitment to project development with the concept of “We Build Happiness” to create happiness for residents. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing the latest innovation, PLUG ME EV from MEA, which features a charging system for electric vehicles to accommodate the high number of residents in the condominium. We have installed up to 12 charging stations at Atmoz Oasis On Nut, supporting Smart Charging that optimizes energy management at the charging stations according to the project's electricity usage at different times, ensuring efficiency and safety. Residents can charge their vehicles overnight, which helps preserve battery life by minimizing heat generation compared to fast charging. The management of the charging stations is handled by the project's juristic person, allowing for lower service fees than external charging stations while also generating income for the juristic person. Additionally, the company plans to expand the installation of electric vehicle chargers to other projects in the future to accommodate the growing use of electric vehicles and contribute to energy conservation and environmental preservation for sustainable quality living,” Mr. Wutthiphan stated.

According to Mr. Jaturong Suriyasanin, Deputy Governor of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, this collaboration with AssetWise marks the first installation of electric vehicle chargers under the PLUG ME EV innovation in residential condominium buildings, expanding MEA's service area to better meet the needs of AssetWise residents and general electric vehicle users. The PLUG ME EV innovation features a Type-2 charging model rated at 7.4 kilowatts, designed for electric vehicle charging in office buildings or condominiums, utilizing a single control unit to manage and operate the charging heads at the electric vehicle parking spaces, with the capacity to expand to a maximum of 32 charging heads, suitable for office buildings or condominiums with a high number of EV users. The Plug ME EV system can also optimize the existing electrical system for maximum efficiency, ensuring user safety and high operational efficiency,” Mr. Jaturong added.
