Advanced Information Technology Public Company Limited (AIT) has announced its performance results for the fiscal year 2023, reporting revenues of 6.514 billion baht and a net profit of 497 million baht, reflecting a 17% increase compared to 2022. The company emphasizes its status as a Dividend Stock by approving a dividend payout of 0.17 baht per share for the second half of the year, with the XD mark set for April 22, 2024. The company aims for a revenue target of 6.8 billion baht for the Dragon Year.

Mr. Siripong Unthrapun, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of AIT, a leader in comprehensive information and communication technology contracting, revealed that for the fiscal year 2023, the company achieved revenues of 6.514 billion baht, a 3% decrease from 6.681 billion baht in 2022, while net profit increased by 17% from 424 million baht in 2022. The company has recognized most of its revenues from both government and private sector clients, including projects such as the development of a train tracking system and logistics management for the State Railway of Thailand, the procurement and development of geographic information for research and policy-making for the Social Security Office, and the development of a government platform to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act.

The strong profit growth reinforces AIT's position as a Dividend Stock that provides good returns to shareholders. The Board of Directors has approved an additional dividend payout of 0.17 baht per share, with the XD mark set for April 22, 2024, and the dividend payment scheduled for May 9, 2024. However, the right to receive this dividend is subject to approval by the company's annual general meeting on April 11, 2024. Including the interim dividend of 0.15 baht paid on September 8, 2023, the total dividend for 2023 amounts to 0.32 baht per share.

The CEO of AIT stated that this year, the company has outlined five key business strategies: 1) Expanding the customer base to drive revenue growth, 2) Building strong relationships with business partners, 3) Developing personnel to meet challenging work demands, 4) Enhancing internal systems for improved efficiency, and 5) Expanding businesses that create sustainable growth opportunities with short, medium, and long-term returns.

For 2024, the company aims to continue delivering good returns, targeting total revenues of 6.8 billion baht. As of February 8, 2024, the company has a backlog of 5.7 billion baht and an additional 235 million baht in pending orders, which will support its operational performance. Additionally, there are approximately 1.6 billion baht worth of projects currently in the bidding process.

In terms of investments, AIT is also engaged in carbon credit trading and has planted around 1,000 rai of economic teak forest in Khru Buri District, Nakhon Ratchasima. Currently, AIT has planted 40-50% of the teak seedlings and is further studying carbon credit trading to prepare for its planned operations. This investment reflects the company's commitment to environmentally conscious business practices, even though its core operations have minimal direct environmental impact. This initiative marks a significant step towards sustainable business practices.
