"One Bangkok Pavilion" Showcases the Inspiring Urban Canvas Concept at Bangkok Design Week 2024, Open for Viewing Today – February 4 at the Central Post Office, Bang Rak
One Bangkok is a prototype green smart city real estate project in the heart of Bangkok that prioritizes sustainability in every dimension. Under the concept of The Heart of Bangkok, a city built with heart, it centers around the "heart" of the people and supports the Bangkok Design Week 2024 by collaborating with many renowned artists and designers to create the One Bangkok Pavilion to reinforce the project's commitment to integrating art and culture into daily life, enhancing the quality of life for people through creative spaces and diverse art programs (Inspiring Urban Canvas).

Ms. Jarintip Chumuenwai, Head Curator and Executive of Art and Culture, and Senior Director of Strategic Brand Communication and Public Relations for the One Bangkok Project stated that One Bangkok has supported Bangkok Design Week for the third consecutive year, believing that art and culture will enhance the quality of life for people and the city, inspiring new ideas for everyone and serving as a key factor in driving the creative economy.
One Bangkok's involvement in this year's Bangkok Design Week emphasizes the project's intention and vision by creating the "One Bangkok Pavilion" in line with the festival's theme for 2024, 'Livable Scape: The More People Participate, the Better the City Becomes.'
This interprets the concept of collaboration among people, which is a fundamental mechanism for developing spaces with potential, to convey stories and connect with urban development. The pavilion is designed to be a model of a livable city, collaborating with various creators and artists to share the power of participation and art with everyone (Inspiring Urban Canvas).

One Bangkok aims to bring art closer to life (Open Up Art to Life) by partnering with Supermachine Studio, a world-renowned design studio, to design the One Bangkok Pavilion to be easily accessible and enjoyable for various activities at all times.
Additionally, it collaborates with Kids Bloom and Yimsamer, two multimedia agencies specializing in immersive experiences, to spark creativity through a contemporary jumping game on an interactive screen inspired by the game 'Tang Te,' inviting everyone to join the fun in the pavilion space.

Mr. Pitupong Chaowakul, architect and founder of Supermachine Studio, discussed the design of the 'One Bangkok Pavilion', saying, "From the concept of 'Inspiring Urban Canvas,' we interpreted the pavilion's design to resemble a castle made from wooden blocks, comparing the geometric shapes that differ and vary to the creation of a city that requires everyone's participation. Each person contributes their dreams and inspirations to complete this pavilion, allowing everyone to join in the fun and interact at all times. It should not be complicated or difficult to access, so it is not seen merely as a towering architecture or a backdrop in photos. Importantly, it must be a space that grants freedom to participants to interpret its use in their own way, creating a memorable experience for everyone."
Moreover, there are activities promoting urban space development potential, presented through art, culture, and music, in collaboration with various renowned artists, such as:
Live Paint activities by BIGDEL and MRKREME, two famous street artists from Bridge Art Agency, who will paint and color the pavilion blocks in their unique style to inspire and energize throughout the festival; live music performances combined with painting that narrate the story of the capital and dream cities through melodies intertwined with paintings by the Tomato Twins, featuring S I R I, the creator of the Tomato Twins artwork, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pathorn Srigranont, an international musician and songwriter, former member of the band As. Friday.

Activities include Urban Swing Dancing that will open the dance floor for everyone to get up and dance with Jelly Roll Dance Club and The Stumbling Swingout; music from DJs from Bangkok Community Radio to liven up the nighttime atmosphere; percussion performances from Tiger Drum Thailand; art workshop History On Screen for craft lovers featuring silk screen printing classes inspired by the history of the area around Witthayu and Rama 4 roads by TNT SCREEN x Tosmile28, enhanced with specially crafted soda flavors by Aircraft Cola; Performing Art for children and Interactive Movement Performance by BICT Fest, an international theater festival for children and youth, and BIPAM, an international contemporary performing arts festival, along with many other activities that will add vibrancy throughout the event.
