When "waste" becomes a valuable resource, through the waste management system at The Park, a smart mixed-use project under the concept of "Life Well Balanced", it is the first project in Thailand to receive LEED Gold® certification version 4, which is the latest international standard for green buildings, and WELL Certified™ Core Gold, recognized as the latest global health standard in the real estate sector. The project has donated 1 ton of plant nutrients derived from waste management within the building to the Office of the Special Committee for Coordinating Projects under the Royal Initiative (GPO), sharing sustainable ideas and creating benefits for the community, contributing to a greener world and reducing waste with "Zero Food Waste".

Mr. Kamolnai Chai-Chaen, Executive Director of TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd. stated, "The Park aims to share our sustainability and environmentally friendly stance with our tenants and partners. We have studied and experimented with various practices until we found a way to manage and utilize resources efficiently, including reducing the environmental impact that may arise from operations within the building."

"The Park prioritizes waste management from the design stage by allocating space for sustainable waste management. With a commitment to efficiently manage waste within the project, we have selected high-quality food waste disposal machines from OKLIN, which can process a wider variety of food waste, including liquid food and larger food scraps, biodegradable packaging, and tissue paper, without the need for grinding or chopping. Most importantly, it releases less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, significantly benefiting the environment." Ms. Nattakan Klawuthanan, Managing Director of Oklin (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said.

On the other hand, Mr. Suporn Treenarin, Secretary of the Special Committee for Coordinating Projects under the Royal Initiative said, "The GPO is very pleased to be the intermediary for receiving quality plant nutrients which the GPO will allocate for use in the areas of the Royal Initiative Development Study Center and other projects under the Royal Initiative."

The Park has been using the food waste management system with OKLIN machines since the project opened in 2020, managing to convert approximately 25 tons of food waste into plant nutrients, reducing methane emissions equivalent to about 65 standard gas tanks and decreasing the carbon footprint by over 62 tons of CO2e, which is comparable to planting over 3,600 teak trees.
