The Accelerate Impact with PRUKSA Season 2 project held an Open House event to welcome social entrepreneurs interested in joining the program. Attendees engaged in discussions on the topic Planting a Better Future: Starting - Growing - Fulfilling, which offered new perspectives on social entrepreneurship that goes beyond volunteer activities or CSR projects, demonstrating that it can be a viable and growing business. The event also invited first-generation alumni to share their experiences and highlight the opportunities provided by Pruksa that have significantly propelled their businesses forward.

Mr. Uthen Lohachitpitak, CEO of Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, stated that the Open House for Accelerate Impact with PRUKSA Season 2 was organized to provide an opportunity for social entrepreneurs interested in joining the program to hear Pruksa's vision for supporting social businesses to create a society that is “Happy and Healthy”. This event also aimed to inspire social entrepreneurship by demonstrating that it can create positive impacts on society while still achieving sustainable business growth.

“The Accelerate Impact with Pruksa Season 1 project was a success for Pruksa and social entrepreneurs, helping to create change in various aspects of society. This has motivated Pruksa to continue and expand its positive impact, leading to the launch of Accelerate Impact with Pruksa Season 2. This season aims to create positive changes in society through collaborative innovation between Pruksa and entrepreneurs who recognize the importance of the concept of 'Happy and Healthy.' The challenges for this season include 1) promoting good physical and mental health, 2) reducing carbon emissions and sustainably using natural resources, and 3) reducing inequality and enhancing essential skills for job opportunities,” Mr. Uthen said.

During this Open House, there was a panel discussion on Planting a Better Future: Starting - Growing - Fulfilling, which provided guidance on conducting social businesses from the initial stages to sustainable growth that benefits society. This discussion reinforced the idea that social enterprises can be more than just volunteer activities or CSR projects; they can be viable businesses. The panel included Mr. Uthen Lohachitpitak, CEO of Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, as a major player in the Social Impact Ecosystem, along with Ms. Sukulthip Keerathiphanwong, Secretary-General of the Sustainable Business Development Association and an expert in measuring social impact, and Mr. Amornpol Huawanant, CEO and co-founder of Moreloop, a social enterprise focused on creating a circular economy by adding value to leftover fabrics.

Additionally, first-generation alumni of the Accelerate Impact with PRUKSA project shared their experiences, including Mr. Janwit Wisojsongkram, co-founder of Buddy Home Care, a social enterprise that cares for the elderly, and Mr. Thanawat Thiantongnukul, CEO and co-founder of findTEMP, a platform connecting part-time workers with employers. Both shared the opportunities they gained from participating in the program, which allowed their businesses to grow rapidly with Pruksa's support.

“The Open House for Accelerate Impact with PRUKSA Season 2 saw a large turnout of social entrepreneurs and startups. Pruksa is ready to support and be a partner for social businesses in creating a better society together by providing resources such as funding, consulting, skill development, and access to necessary tools and resources for business development,” Mr. Uthen stated.

Regarding funding, participating entrepreneurs will receive financial support for business expansion from Pruksa and have the opportunity to receive additional funding from the Jitphongpan Foundation, totaling over 6 million baht, and may also be considered for investment from Pruksa under its Corporate Venture Capital.
