SCG Foundation Wins Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2023
SCG Foundation has won the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2023 in the Investment in People category from Enterprise Asia, showcasing its continuous commitment to social responsibility, particularly through the initiative “Learn to Earn” aimed at developing and empowering the youth to face future challenges.

Ms. Suwimon Jiwarak, Director and Manager of SCG Foundation stated that the foundation recognizes the challenges in education in today's rapidly changing era. Therefore, it promotes the “Learn to Earn” concept, encouraging quick learning and job readiness by providing scholarships for career-oriented education, including hard skills in public health and technology (IT), totaling 1,300 scholarships. Additionally, it develops life skills and interpersonal skills (soft skills) to prepare the youth for a fast-evolving world, which has led to SCG Foundation receiving the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2023 (AREA) in the Investment in People category from Enterprise Asia.
Enterprise Asia is a non-profit organization founded in Malaysia, with the primary mission of promoting and developing organizations that are socially and environmentally responsible in the Asia region. It has selected outstanding organizations in social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and sustainable development from over 19 countries. To date, a total of 3,367 organizations have participated in the awards. This year, SCG Foundation's remarkable work in developing individual potential earned it a spot among the award recipients. A total of 115 organizations from 10 countries received awards in various categories, announced during the Showcasing The ESG Championship event on June 30 at the NAGAWORLD Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

“Because SCG Foundation believes in the value of people, we understand that no investment is more worthwhile than investing in human resources, especially children and youth, as they are the driving force of society. Investing in today's people is creating a future for tomorrow,” emphasized Suwimon Jiwarak, Director and Manager of SCG Foundation, reiterating the organization's core mission.
Moreover, SCG Foundation continues to raise awareness and understanding of the “Learn to Earn” concept to ensure that Thai children can “learn to survive” in real life. This initiative is being expanded to educational institutions, teachers, and parents to foster greater participation and to raise awareness of the reality that success is not solely based on academic excellence but also on being skilled, good, and kind. Recently, the foundation launched this year's highlight campaign, Gen Will Survive, along with a pilot activity called “Best Survivor Awards,” which is currently open for participants until July 15, 2023.
