LPP Launches 'LPP for a Greener World' Project with 260 Participating Initiatives to Promote Sustainable Environmental Awareness
LPP is advancing its social mission by collaborating with 260 projects aimed at creating a better environment through the 'LPP for a Greener World' initiative. This project focuses on fostering environmental awareness to drive sustainable change, encouraging Thai people to incorporate eco-friendly practices into their daily lives while continuously engaging in environmental activities throughout the second half of the year.

Ms. Somsri Techakraisri, Managing Director of LPP Property Management Co., Ltd. (LPP), a comprehensive property management company, stated that environmental issues are increasingly impacting people both in Thai society and globally, with concerns such as global warming, plastic waste, and air pollution becoming more pronounced. All sectors are recognizing the importance of finding ways to coexist harmoniously with the environment. As LPP manages over 260 residential projects, housing more than 300,000 residents across 10 million square meters, it plays a significant role in fostering a community that prioritizes sustainable living. The company's future growth plans will expand its family of residents, making it crucial to define the role of communal living in creating a sustainable future, thereby promoting a 'livable community' under LPP's stewardship and the resident representatives' committee.
Ms. Somsri continued, "We believe that we all share one 'home', which is this 'world'. Therefore, LPP is committed to promoting environmental policies to make our world a better place. We want all LPP members to play an essential role in driving and actively participating in preserving a healthy environment. Thus, we have initiated the 'LPP for a Greener World' project, starting this June, to encourage residents and building users to engage in environmental care and take action to ensure that all areas within our projects and communities have a good environment. LPP will present various simple and sustainable practices that can be easily incorporated into daily life, such as using reusable water bottles, carrying cloth bags, properly sorting waste, planting trees, conserving water and electricity, and maintaining vehicles to reduce emissions. If everyone commits to these practices seriously and consistently, and if our campaign attracts more participants to 'protect the world', we can significantly contribute to environmental preservation.
Additionally, throughout the second half of 2023, LPP will continue its environmental initiatives in collaboration with over 260 managed projects, creating diverse activities. For instance, participating in 'Recycle Day' to turn waste into valuable resources, organizing 'Big Cleaning Day' in each project to promote Reduce, Reuse, Recycle practices, allowing residents to benefit from a better living environment in their homes and communities while passing on usable items to others. LPP will coordinate with the 'Sharing Project by the Yuwapat Foundation' to facilitate the sale of donated items at the Sharing Store, converting them into funds for social benefits. The 'Big Cleaning Day' also provides an opportunity for residents to engage and foster a culture of sharing. Furthermore, LPP will welcome various foundations or organizations with aligned objectives to join in demonstrating their commitment to environmental preservation for long-term sustainability.
Regarding building management, LPP emphasizes reducing waste from each project to promote a Zero Waste Society. This includes waste management practices for recycling, adhering to wastewater treatment standards to prevent environmental pollution, and maintaining buildings and machinery to help reduce carbon footprints. LPP will also employ various methods to disseminate information, raise awareness, and encourage residents to cooperate in environmental preservation.
“LPP takes environmental issues seriously, and we believe that our approach can extend to the broader community. Therefore, we invite all sectors to prioritize environmental matters to make this world a more livable home. It starts simply with the 'LPP for a Greener World' project, which everyone can easily implement in their daily lives,” said Ms. Somsri.
LPP is committed to being a leader in comprehensive property management while enhancing the quality of life in a pleasant environment, reinforcing its operations under the environmental management system standards ISO 14001:2015 alongside quality standards ISO 9001:2015, ensuring confidence in caring for residents and the community in all aspects.
