LPN Advances Efforts to Reduce Electricity Consumption in All Projects, Aiming to Install Solar Panels in Over 847 Single-Family Homes in 2023
LPN is moving forward with its goal of sustainable organizational development, particularly in environmental aspects, from the design process to construction, and importantly, the management of living spaces. This aligns with LPN's business plan for 2023, which is committed to continuously reducing electricity consumption by aiming to increase the installation of solar panels in single-family homes and townhomes by over 847 units across all price ranges, including sales offices and common areas within condominium projects under the LPN brand, to enhance the quality of life and maximize benefits for residents in every project.

Mr. Opas Sripakdi, CEO and Managing Director of L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited, revealed that “In the past, LPN has been dedicated to reducing electricity consumption by continuously installing solar panels in common areas and sales offices of both old and new projects. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has accelerated the growth of alternative energy and has continuously impacted the rising trend of energy costs, which directly affects fluctuating electricity prices in Thailand. Additionally, conclusions from global events like COP27 and APEC2022 continue to emphasize Net-Zero across all sectors worldwide. Therefore, we must contribute to accelerating the reduction of global pollution to meet set targets, addressing climate issues, managing resources, and sustainably reducing and managing waste. This has led LPN to expedite and adjust plans for increased solar panel installations, which also adds value to residential projects by selecting quality solar panels certified for use in Thailand, ensuring high electricity production efficiency. Previously, we have collected data from L.P.P. Property Management Company regarding the installation of Solar Rooftops in condominium common areas, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 15 - 20%, or lower electricity costs in common areas by approximately 30,000 – 50,000 Baht per month per project.”

Currently, in addition to promoting the use of renewable energy through solar panel installations, the company also applies international health standards such as WELL (WELL Building Standard) to enhance the quality of living for both physical and mental well-being sustainably. The LPN Green Design Concept Standard includes sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy efficiency, material and resource selection, and promoting an indoor environment that enhances the quality of life for residents, all developed with the intention of delivering “true happiness of living” to all residents, meeting their lifestyle needs and maximizing the value of living.

“Soon, we will also launch a new project, PARK 168 Nopparat Ramindra, which is a new condominium designed under the concept of “Nordic well-being philosophy.” It features specially designed living spaces and a large common area of 9,000 square meters for improved well-being living, starting at just 1.69 million Baht. The first VIP viewing will be held on May 28. The Ramindra area is also a high-potential investment area, with land prices expected to increase by 25-30% from the previous range of 95,000 - 100,000 Baht per square wah, currently moving to 125,000 Baht per square wah. This area is set to become a New CBD, popular due to its connectivity to many main and secondary roads, as well as proximity to the Pink Line subway, leading to a projected annual demand for housing in this area of 600 - 800 units,” Mr. Opas added.
Additionally, the company continues to prioritize environmental and social responsibility by aiming to assess its carbon footprint, striving to become a Carbon Neutral Organization, purchasing carbon credits to offset its greenhouse gas emissions, and has received two types of carbon labeling. It is also gradually installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in all projects.
