D-Land Property announced that during the nine days of Songkran, spending at its two Porto Go locations in Bang Pa-In and Tha Chin reached 13 million baht, growing over 50% compared to last year. Traffic was bustling with over 400,000 vehicles on the two routes from Bang Pa-In to Tha Chin, attributed to the full reopening of the country. Domestic tourists are traveling back to their hometowns and exploring more, while international tourists are gradually returning to Thailand. The traffic to the centers over the nine days totaled more than 60,000 vehicles, equivalent to over 120,000 people. Porto Go meets consumer trends with convenience, cleanliness, and safety, featuring touchless air-conditioned restrooms, the most drive-thru services in Thailand, DC and AC electric vehicle charging stations, and over 30 shops catering to travelers. Recently, two new tenants, “Khai Wan Ban Sushi” and “Kway Teow Ruea Krung Si”, opened new branches at Porto Go Bang Pa-In, ready to serve during the upcoming long holiday in May.

Mr. Suthep Panyasakorn, Managing Director of D-Land Property Co., Ltd., a developer of real estate, community malls, and rest areas, stated that the positive effects of the full reopening have led to increased domestic travel and a steady return of international tourists, resulting in over 400,000 vehicles traveling during Songkran on the two routes: Bang Pa-In on Asia Road before reaching Ayutthaya city and Tha Chin on Rama II Road. The traffic to Porto Go Bang Pa-In and Porto Go Tha Chin totaled over 60,000 vehicles, representing more than 120,000 people, with spending at both centers exceeding 13 million baht, a growth of over 50% from last year.

The overall atmosphere shows that tourists are traveling more, leading to increased traffic at both Porto Go locations. The experience of selecting and designing spaces for easy access and comfort for travelers is evident, with prime locations on highways connecting provinces, catering to travelers as rest stops or midway points. This meets consumer behavior trends, especially for those who are still cautious and prefer social distancing, with clean touchless restrooms and air conditioning, as well as the most drive-thru services in Thailand, with four drive-thru restaurants at each location. For tourists returning to normal life, there are over 30 dine-in options at each branch, along with DC and AC electric vehicle charging stations and retail zones for travelers, all under strict cleanliness measures, boosting customer confidence in using services at both Porto Go locations,” Mr. Suthep added.

Mr. Suthep further stated that based on these signals, it is expected that in 2023, traffic at both Porto Go locations will grow over 50%. The company plans to continue expanding services to meet customer demand, recently welcoming two potential tenants: “Khai Wan Ban Sushi,” renowned for its fresh ingredients, great taste, and variety of sushi options, and “Kway Teow Ruea Krung Si,” a legendary recipe adapted for a more universal flavor, appealing to a broader consumer base with quality ingredients. The new branches at Porto Go Bang Pa-In are designed for easy, convenient, and quick dining at affordable prices, now open at Porto Go Bang Pa-In on Asia Road before reaching Ayutthaya city.

Nonetheless, Porto Go continues to develop both service centers, focusing on public service points to ensure convenience, cleanliness, and safety, as well as welcoming various restaurant partners to meet the needs of travelers. The goal is to grow alongside partners, with an expected spending increase of 30% by the end of this year, Mr. Suthep concluded.

Porto Go at both locations still has rental space available and is looking for shops that cater to travelers, ready to grow together. Interested parties can contact 099-3542693 / 080-0742909 / 062-6726726.
