Origin One is expanding its growth plan, Origin Infinity, by partnering with Energy Complex or EnCo, a company under PTT Group, to develop the Holiday Inn Express Rayong hotel project. This initiative aims to cater to the returning influx of foreign investors and tourists, enhancing the potential of the location to become the New CBD of Rayong and a modern meeting point in the EEC. The hotel is expected to open in the second quarter of 2023.

Mr. Pirapong Jaroonaek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), revealed that the company is continuing to drive strong and sustainable growth as part of its Origin Infinity plan announced earlier this year. Recently, Origin One Public Company Limited, which generates recurring income within the Origin Property Public Company Limited group, has reached a cooperation agreement with Energy Complex Company Limited (EnCo), a comprehensive real estate development and management company under PTT Group. They will jointly establish One District Rayong 2 Limited with equal shares of 50% to construct and operate the Holiday Inn Express Rayong, an 8-story hotel with 204 rooms located at the Ninsamlee intersection within the mega-project area of Origin Smart City Rayong.

Mr. Piti Jarukhamjorn, CEO of Origin One Public Company Limited, which generates recurring income within the Origin Property Public Company Limited group, stated that the Origin Property Group has already developed the first phase of residential projects in the Origin Smart City Rayong. Now, Origin One is continuing to enhance this 24-rai Smart City by introducing the globally recognized Holiday Inn Express from the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), in collaboration with EnCo, a long-established business group in Rayong that understands local needs well. Together, they aim to create a hotel that meets the demands of both the business and tourism sectors, transforming the Ninsamlee intersection into the New CBD of Rayong.

In the past, Rayong Province has been recognized for its high potential in both tourism and industrial investment, and it is one of the key provinces in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) that has continuously promoted investment. The development of a new internationally recognized hotel in Rayong is seen as a response to the growing demand from investors, while also supporting the tourism sector's recovery from the COVID-19 situation, making it a modern meeting point in the EEC. The hotel is expected to open in the second quarter of 2023.
