NocNoc, the online hub for furniture and home decoration ideas, has elevated its NocNoc Application platform by launching the latest features that cover all aspects of home living, creating a user experience through the development of backend systems for convenient shopping, allowing customers to find their desired home decor items using Big Data and modern technology. We aim to meet the real demands of home lovers across all generations, including a Community for sharing home-related experiences, Image Search for visual product searches, and NocNoc Connect, which connects users in every dimension with installation services and an affiliate program that allows friends to shop together and earn commissions, acting as Sellers.

Ms. Natwadee Wongthosarat, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Betterbee Marketplace Co., Ltd., or NocNoc, the first online hub for furniture and home decoration ideas in Thailand, stated that the NocNoc platform was first launched four years ago, starting with services through the NocNoc.com website, where NocNoc acts as an intermediary connecting buyers (Consumers) and sellers (Sellers). It provides access to furniture, home decor, appliances, construction materials, and all home-related services anytime, anywhere, with free delivery to the doorstep.

From a consumer perspective, starting services through the website effectively addressed our customer base, which has an average age of 40-50 years. However, we later found that home decorators are no longer just those over 40, but a new generation, especially teenagers who enjoy decorating their living spaces in condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes. Therefore, we expanded access to NocNoc's products and services through the NocNoc application, which was first launched in June 2022 and received positive feedback from users, reaching approximately 1 million user accounts by December 2022.

In developing the NocNoc Application, we aimed to differentiate it from typical e-commerce platforms.
It is not just an app that connects buyers and sellers; we started from the pain points of users to identify their problems and developed various features to address these pain points, enhancing the user experience on NocNoc. We found that most people wanting to decorate their homes often struggle to communicate with interior designers and architects. For instance, customers provide their decoration needs and details, but when they receive the design, it often does not meet their expectations. This is a challenge that NocNoc is addressing by developing ways to facilitate better understanding between general users wanting to decorate their homes and interior designers.

Recently, we have created home decoration ideas through a gallery of images, featuring styles such as contemporary, minimal, vintage, and modern, allowing customers to easily choose their preferred home decoration style, thus improving communication between customers, interior designers, and architects.

One of the key highlights in the NocNoc Application that was recently launched is the Image Search feature, which helps customers find home decoration products. We have developed our own Machine Learning through the Big Data we possess and modern backend technology, making the search system highly accurate. For example, if a customer likes a sofa in a café but does not know the model or brand, they can take a picture and search for it in the NocNoc Application, and the system will immediately find similar sofas that match the customer's preferences.

At the same time, we also have a Community for exchanging home experiences where users can discuss among themselves and receive advice from professional consultants on all home-related matters. For instance, if you have a dog, what type of flooring should you use to prevent your beloved pet from having knee problems in the future, etc.

NocNoc Connect connects users in every dimension because buying home decoration items is not just a one-time purchase. Some products come with additional services, such as installation, wall work, and plumbing. We connect these services for ease and convenience during the checkout process, including calculating costs so that users can see them before deciding to order.

Lastly, we have developed the NocNoc Affiliate feature to expand the community of customers who purchase and use our home decoration products from NocNoc, allowing them to review, recommend, and share their experiences. For example, if a customer orders a sofa from NocNoc and wants to share their experience, they can do so and invite friends to purchase the same product. If the friend likes it and places an order through NocNoc, they will receive a commission, acting as a Seller.

Ms. Natwadee further stated that the important vision of NocNoc is to create real inspiration and empower users on the platform, whether they are general customers, sellers, or service providers related to homes.

We do not want to be just an e-marketplace connecting buyers and sellers; we aim to empower buyers and sellers to meet at the most suitable points, ensuring that customers trust and believe that by using NocNoc, they can purchase products and decorate their homes according to their needs without wasting time or feeling disappointed.”

In 2023, we will introduce new features to support both online and offline channels, making it easier for customers to purchase furniture, home decor, appliances, and construction materials on the NocNoc platform, responding quickly and accurately to customer needs. Importantly, we want NocNoc Connect to be a connecting point for all users, whether they are buyers, sellers, or service providers, to gain even more benefits, making every home decoration process easy and concluding on the NocNoc platform.
