SC Asset Partners with PLAY Art House to Launch Contemporary Art Event Reflecting Life in the Songwad Area, Inviting Club Members to Experience A THING THAT IS PIECES
SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Nattakit Sirirat, Head of Marketing, has collaborated with PLAY Art House, the first contemporary art gallery on Songwad Road founded by Uei-Kiatwat Srichanwanpen, along with two creative artists, Cholacha Nilanthamsak and Piyapa Wichiansarn, to create a special event titled A THING THAT IS PIECES under the concept "MATTER IS NEVER GONE, THEY ONLY TRANSFORM." They invite members of the 'Roo Jai Club' from various SC projects to participate in DIY activities and view works created from leftover materials, giving new life and value to these items in innovative ways. This initiative is based on the idea that 'matter never disappears but can transform,' experimenting with everyday objects and various components combined with creative materials, reinterpreting old or damaged items through art and functional design. For example, equipment left over from a closed business of an artist is combined with the skills and craftsmanship of acquaintances to become "special pieces," alongside works from Precious Plastic Songwat, which recycles plastic waste into creative forms. This activity serves as another check-in point for Bangkok Design Week 2023.

“Songwad is one of the oldest neighborhoods that has long been associated with the Thai people, especially the Chinese descendants who have grown up and lived in the area. Since SC is a home brand that emphasizes design and being part of the community's lifestyle, we want to be a driving force for the Songwad area to be recognized and for people to understand its history and charm through art with PLAY Art House,” said Mr. Nattakit.
