"NocNoc" is a marketplace that serves as a comprehensive online hub for furniture and home decor ideas, offering the most complete range of furniture, home accessories, flooring and wall materials, and electrical appliances in Thailand. As it gears up for 2023, NocNoc is focusing on strengthening its brand with a strategy to penetrate the Home and Living market, aiming to become the go-to destination for home enthusiasts in both Bangkok and provincial areas, with a sales target of 5 billion baht, doubling from 2022, and gathering over 4,000 sellers.

Chollakarn Mahasuwirachai, CEO of Betterbee Marketplace Co., Ltd., the operator of the "NocNoc" platform, stated that the overall Thai e-commerce market is expected to grow by 10% in 2023, which is not very high compared to the past three years. The Home and Living sector still has opportunities for recovery post-COVID, despite significant challenges. This year, "NocNoc" aims for over 100% growth while focusing on sustainable development and elevating the Home and Living industry to align with market trends and the ever-evolving consumer behavior.

Since its launch just three years ago, NocNoc has achieved total sales on the platform exceeding 5 billion baht, with a 200% growth in Q4 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. The platform serves both B2C and B2B customers, with over 1 million app downloads and more than 3 million monthly users on the app and website, and approximately 150,000 active users. Over 75% of active users have made purchase decisions through the NocNoc platform, with over 30% returning to buy again.

Pricing significantly influences customers' purchasing decisions. Most customers tend to browse products through other sales channels to experience the materials and actual sizes before ultimately deciding to purchase on the NocNoc platform.

Over the past three years, the most popular product category has been home decor furniture, including sofas, bedding, storage shelves, tables, chairs, and tiles. The second category is electrical appliances, followed by home improvement products, and finally, home services.

Anupong Tasadwok, Chief Commercial Officer of Betterbee Marketplace Co., Ltd., mentioned that they are employing a Hyper-Personalized Marketing strategy using Big Data to understand customer needs, lifestyles, and future purchasing behaviors, allowing them to present tailored content for every customer journey. This is another strength that enables NocNoc's growth.

In 2023, NocNoc aims to be more than just a marketplace; it aspires to become a Home and Living Destination, providing a platform that creates personalized home decor experiences through an AI system that helps users find furniture and home accessories that match their preferences via the InspiREALtion Feed. Additionally, a community feature will be launched in the NocNoc app, allowing users to share and exchange home ideas and experiences easily.

 

Furthermore, there will be a focus on expanding the variety of home-related products across multiple categories, such as mother and child, lifestyle, pets, cafes, restaurants, and electrical appliances. There will also be promotional activities to broaden the Home and Living market, such as the NocNoc Fair, which aims to be held twice a year, and NocNoc for Business to reach both small and large entrepreneurs. The strategy includes expanding into provincial cities to grow the customer base and bring brands closer to consumers. They will refine target segments to present products and experiences that align closely with those specific groups.
