‘Britania’ Invites Residents to Separate Waste with ‘Champion Bags’ Aiming for a Better Environment Starting at Home
For the first time in the public real estate sector, “Britania Public Company Limited” collaborates with “Champion Bags,” a major waste bag manufacturer in the country, to create a better environment through the project “B GREEN: A Good Environment Starts at Home.” This initiative focuses on promoting waste separation to reduce waste, starting with the residents of the Britania Mega Town Bangna project.

Mr. Parama Hemathulin, Managing Director of Project Development at Britania Public Company Limited, a leader in real estate development committed to creating quality living spaces, stated that Britania operates in the subdivision real estate sector. Residents in these communities are closely connected to environmental issues, particularly the waste generated within their homes. He believes that if household waste is sorted from the source, it will lead to more efficient waste management at the end point, providing an opportunity to recycle waste, reduce waste volume, and create a sustainable good environment, in line with Britania's goals.

The Britania housing project thus serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about waste separation starting from individual households and expanding to the community. This collaboration with Champion Bags, a company that emphasizes supporting waste separation among Thais, aims to continuously encourage residents to separate waste. Activities include creating informative campaign signs about waste separation, setting up four-color waste bins for sorting at various points within the community, and Champion Bags providing sets of four-color waste bags to Britania residents to support proper waste sorting, leading to other environmental activities such as the “B GREEN: A Good Environment Starts at Home” event, which allows residents to engage with environmental issues by recycling unused items or waste.
This collaboration with Champion Bags marks the beginning of raising awareness about waste separation starting from the “home.” Britania plans to expand these activities in collaboration with Champion Bags to other Britania projects in the future.

Ms. Rachada Inthrachalit, Deputy Managing Director of Danudetch Industry Co., Ltd., the producer of “Champion Bags,” stated that the company has always been committed to environmental issues, especially waste management. They have collaborated with Britania to organize the “B GREEN: A Good Environment Starts at Home” project, which aligns with the company's ongoing efforts for the past four years. Champion Bags promotes waste separation to reduce waste by producing four-color waste bags to categorize waste into four types: green, blue, yellow, and red. The colors of the bags serve as symbols for waste sorting, making it easier for consumers to remember and encouraging them to pay attention to proper waste disposal in line with the social concept of “separate waste = reduce waste” in a 360-degree approach.

Champion Bags also campaigns for the “Separate Waste = Reduce Waste” initiative with various organizations and groups, including students, private organizations, charitable organizations, temples, shopping malls, and communities, to provide knowledge about waste separation. The use of colored waste bags helps identify different types of waste easily for both waste disposers and collectors, emphasizing waste separation from the source to the end point, ensuring that sorted waste can be reused, making waste separation straightforward and effective in reducing waste.
The “B Green Britania” project, in collaboration with Champion Bags, is another positive initiative that encourages community members to start separating waste at home, providing knowledge and understanding about waste types by distributing four-color Champion Bags for sorting waste into four categories, creating promotional materials, and signs for each waste type to raise awareness and interest in waste separation among residents. This addresses the issue of waste separation equating to waste reduction for a better environment and cleanliness in shared spaces, contributing to a livable society.
“Champion Bags is ready to support and promote waste separation with the good project from Britania, ‘B GREEN: A Good Environment Starts at Home.’ Separating waste equals reducing waste with Champion Bags,” Ms. Rachada concluded.
