Samyan CO-OP collaborates with the Saturday School Foundation to help realize career aspirations through the Saturday School Student Support (SSSS) Season 5.5 Career Exploration project. This initiative aims to share knowledge and skills that align with the demands of various careers, featuring insights from experienced professionals across diverse fields at Samyan CO-OP, 2nd floor of Samyan Mitrtown. This space promotes learning at no cost and supports sustainable lifelong learning. The project starts on October 3, 2022, and runs until the BIG DAY showcase on February 18, 2023.

The SSSS 5.5 Career Exploration project highlights include:
● The project combines the experience of Samyan CO-OP, which has provided free learning spaces for over three years, delivering a conducive environment for interaction between instructors and learners, along with the expertise of the Saturday School Foundation in curating content that meets the needs of participating students, shared through real experiences from a strong network of trainers.
● An estimated 700 students and volunteers are expected to participate (40 students and 30 volunteers, with a total of 10 activities planned).
● Opportunities for current members of Samyan CO-OP, including students and the general public, to volunteer by sharing knowledge and preparation techniques in various career fields to align with future labor market demands.
● Utilizing technology to enhance access to valuable content through a Hybrid Learning approach, with a team summarizing knowledge gained in each class and disseminating it through the online channels of both partners.

Ms. Piyawan Soi Noi, Director of Samyan CO-OP, under the management of Frasers Property Commercial (Thailand), stated that this collaboration aligns with efforts to create social value, promote knowledge sharing, and enhance quality of life to develop the potential of our service users continuously. We believe that the Saturday School Foundation will be a key content partner that helps extend the value of Samyan CO-OP for broader benefits, creating an ecosystem for sustainable learning and supporting educational equality in Thailand by connecting providers and recipients, building on the success of supporting over 130,000 students and service users at Samyan CO-OP over the past three years.

Mr. Sarawit Paiboonratnakorn, Founder of the Saturday School Foundation, stated that the Saturday School Foundation has been operating for over eight years as a hub of knowledge and an opportunity for everyone in society to participate in the development of Thai education. Currently, we have a network of over 7,772 volunteers who are knowledgeable and skilled in various fields to teach extracurricular subjects, all of which are content that students are interested in and want to access this learning space, with over 3,500 students having participated in the program. This collaboration with Samyan CO-OP, which shares the same goal of educational development, will strengthen both partners for the benefit of participants. The SSSS 5.5 Career Exploration project will be the first full-scale collaboration, and we are confident that there will be more interesting and beneficial educational collaborations in the future.

The SSSS 5.5 Career Exploration project is now open for student and volunteer applications to participate in activities from today until the end of October (or until further notice from the project).
