Charn Issara and its affiliated companies organize POWER OF UNIFORM event to support waste reduction

Ms. Theeraporn Srijaroenwong Board Member and Deputy Managing Director (fourth from the right) along with the sustainability team of Charn Issara Development Public Company Limited brought unused uniforms and various clothing items donated by hotels in the group and employees under the project “POWER OF UNIFORM”. This initiative aims to promote proper waste management, including waste sorting and utilizing discarded materials to convert them into fuel pellets for electricity generation. Mr. Chaipruk Thongpiam, Director of the Renewable Energy Center at Better World Green Public Company Limited, accepted the donation. The total weight of the donated uniforms and fabric amounted to 1,860 kilograms, which can reduce landfill waste by the same amount, convert into 1.3 tons of fuel pellets, replace the need to plant 801 trees, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 3.9 tCO₂eq at the Renewable Energy Center of Better World Green Public Company Limited in Nakhon Luang, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province recently.
