RT Confident in Q3/65 Positive Trends with Increased Construction Workforce, Accelerating Project Deliveries
RT reveals business direction for Q3/65, showing improvement with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency, speeding up project deliveries, managing costs to maintain profit margins, and increasing machinery capacity. The construction workforce is set to grow as planned, supporting 25 projects and pushing the backlog to 8.5 billion baht. In Q2/65, total revenue reached 588.39 million baht, with profits growing by 100.85%.

Mr. Chawalit Tanomthin, CEO of Right Tunneling Public Company Limited (RT), a specialist in civil engineering and geotechnics, stated that the operational outlook for Q3/2565 is expected to improve. The company is focused on expanding project management efficiency, both for ongoing construction and upcoming projects, to deliver work faster and ensure continuous revenue recognition.
The company is closely monitoring construction sites and managing costs to maintain profit margins by increasing machinery availability on-site and managing the construction workforce, which is returning to normal operations through collaboration with partners. There are plans to increase the workforce by 30% from the total number of employees, with 10% already imported and the remainder expected to be fully imported by Q3/2565 to support the expansion of construction work across 25 projects in Bangkok and other provinces, amounting to a backlog of 4.566 billion baht as of June 30, 2565. The company aims for a backlog of 8.5 billion baht.
Additionally, the company has taken on two new projects: the construction of a railway tunnel between Den Chai and Ngao, part of the dual-track railway project from Den Chai to Chiang Rai and Chiang Khong, with a contract value of 2.28126 billion baht, and a project to convert overhead power lines to underground lines along the Orange Line (East) at Phetchaburi Road, valued at 556.5 million baht. The total value of new construction work amounts to 2.83776 billion baht.

Currently, the company’s revenue from construction in Q2/2565 is divided as follows: tunnel and underground structure construction 39.03%, dam and irrigation system construction 25.19%, underground electrical conduit construction 17.72%, and other construction works such as road construction and slope protection at 18.06%.
“The company is committed to enhancing construction efficiency to deliver projects as planned and ensure continuous revenue recognition while managing construction costs appropriately. All operational plans reflect improved performance in the previous quarter. However, the company will accelerate efforts to improve operations further, and with the situation affecting the industry showing signs of easing, we believe we can achieve revenue growth according to targets and maintain better profitability,”


Meanwhile, in Q2/2565, the company reported total revenue of 588.39 million baht, an increase from the previous quarter's revenue of 503.69 million baht, an increase of 84.7 million baht or 16.82%. The net profit was 0.21 million baht, a significant recovery from a net loss of 25.31 million baht in the previous quarter, representing an increase of 25.52 million baht or 100.85%.
