Trust for Investment in Airport Property Lease Rights or BAREIT is preparing to offer trust units, emphasizing its investment in airport assets in a strategic location serving as a gateway to Koh Samui, a highly popular tourist destination among both Thai and foreign visitors.

Mr. Puthipong Prasatthongosoth, the Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (BA), as the asset owner (Sponsor), stated that Samui Airport is a highly favored gateway to Koh Samui for tourists from around the world, thanks to its unique airport design and Bangkok Airways' experience in developing and managing the airport for over 33 years, reinforcing its capability to manage Samui Airport effectively.

Ms. Lilapat Lilehwanit, Managing Director of Bangkok Reit Management Co., Ltd., as the manager of the Trust for Investment in Airport Property Lease Rights (BAREIT), revealed that after submitting the registration statement and draft prospectus for the trust unit offering (filing) to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the SEC has officially started the filing process, and it is expected that the offering to investors will take place within August.

Furthermore, BAREIT has invested in Samui Airport, which is a high-potential asset and an international airport capable of accommodating both international and domestic flights, facilitating travel for both Thai and foreign tourists directly to Koh Samui, one of the world's popular travel destinations (Global Destination). This presents a growth investment opportunity alongside the tourism industry, a key sector in Thailand that is steadily recovering.

Mr. Sawit Srisaranpong, Executive of the Investment Banking Group at Kasikorn Bank Public Company Limited, as the financial advisor, stated that BAREIT is the first trust in Thailand to invest in airport property assets, managed effectively by Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, the asset owner, and one of Thailand's leading aviation companies, managing three airports located in high-potential tourist areas: Samui Airport, Sukhothai Airport, and Trat Airport.

Additionally, it is the service provider for the airline “Bangkok Airways,” which operates scheduled flights covering domestic routes to major tourist and cultural destinations in Thailand, such as Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Trat, and international routes to promising countries in the region, including Cambodia, Myanmar, Maldives, Vietnam, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
