Continuing its commitment to being a leader in construction innovation for the environment, CPAC Green Solutions has recently introduced Digital & Construction Technology, which encompasses modern construction and digital systems that excel in speed, quality, and standards. Moreover, it employs a construction process called "Turn Waste to Value" that helps reduce time, pollution, and is environmentally friendly, while supporting the new era of construction known as New Normal. The project "Toyota Alive Space" @ Bangna Km. 3 consists of 3 buildings completed in just 13 months.

The "Toyota Alive Space" project at Bangna Km. 3 is not just a car showroom; it is also considered a new 'lifestyle community' in the heart of Bangna. The interior space is designed to be a hub for various activities for people of all ages, serving as a gathering place, divided into 3 buildings.

Mr. Chuchok Siwakunakan, Managing Director of Construction Products and Materials Co., Ltd. and Executive Director of CPAC Construction Solutions Co., Ltd. in the cement and construction products business of SCG, stated, "After receiving the brief from Toyota, we applied engineering principles known as Value Engineering to analyze how to minimize time while achieving the desired functionality or even better. The first challenge for the Toyota Alive Space project was time, and the second was to ensure quality and usable space as specified by the client."

For the Toyota Alive Space project, over 70% of the work was done off-site, with the operational steps laid out in the Pre-execution phase using the CPAC BIM solution. This involved working on a Collaboration Platform to ensure a unified vision among designers, architects, engineers, contractors, and the project owner, from planning, material selection, energy calculations, to time management, resulting in efficient building management. The Execution phase involved a prefabrication construction process in collaboration with partners like Steel Solution by SYS, known for its steel structures, allowing for the preparation of high-quality prefabricated steel components for precise installation on-site, compatible with the precast concrete hollow core slabs produced and quality-controlled in-house. Thus, it is evident that working with Digital Construction technology can reduce construction time, decrease the number of workers while maintaining construction efficiency (Speed & Quality), and also reduce on-site material waste by over 40%, labor by 50%, and construction time by 40%.

Mr. Chuchok further stated, "With our main mission focusing on installation and time, having Digital Construction technology like CPAC BIM as a tool to connect all work processes allows us to visualize the project clearly. At the same time, to ensure that the work proceeds as planned, we have created an Ecosystem by partnering with experts in various fields to collaborate on this project. We will design the main structure, columns, and beams using a steel system, and Siam Yamato Steel Co., Ltd. or SYS has beautifully and completely fulfilled this aspect."

On the other hand, Mr. Pongsak Haelom, Marketing Manager of Siam Yamato Steel Co., Ltd. or SYS, added, "We use the Bolted Connection system, which involves assembling each component into a structure by tightening bolts and nuts, all controlled by professionals and prepared accurately to ensure efficient installation on-site, reducing construction time. This is a point of pride for SYS because this project required special steel lengths of up to 21 meters, which SYS produced directly from the factory without any joints, resulting in a spacious and open convention hall without any columns in the way."

Meanwhile, Mr. Sutthipong Samitchat, President of TRD (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Arto Co., Ltd., revealed, "The Toyota Alive Space project has been completed very quickly, with the construction of 3 buildings in such a short time as per Toyota's requirements. CPAC Green Solutions has managed to execute everything according to the planned schedule. The off-site assembly method has significantly saved time, and this technology has been well-received, even regarding noise, as it is adjacent to a hospital and condominium, with no complaints at all. This is quite impressive. Originally, this project was conceived two years ago during the COVID outbreak, and our office located in the city had COVID cases. The major concern was the construction time for the new building, as longer durations would delay our use of the space. Selecting contractors took time, and coordination was challenging. During that time, we had the opportunity to discuss with CPAC Green Solutions, saw their systems and various solutions, which provided a one-stop service. We could understand the entire structure, timelines, and identify potential issues. Moreover, when CPAC Green Solutions presented the BIM system, we found it to be quite a new technology, which left a strong impression on us."
